In the heart of the East Devon countryside, surrounded by acres of farmland, you'll find the award-winning Greendale Farm Shop and it's family-friendly café & restaurant. The Greendale Farm Shop Café and Restaurant is much loved by visitors and locals alike. We offer a new extensive menu, created around many of the items sold in our shop and showcasing local produce from our farm and fishing boats. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are no problem and we have a children's menu for the little ones, too. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as tea and coffee, delicious cakes and Devon cream teas.

Once you've eaten why not take a stroll along our family farm trail. The trails follow a level path that’s just right for pushchairs and little legs where you can say hello to all of the animals, including Oscar the Ostrich.

On Sunday and Monday evenings, from 3.30pm, our restaurant serves from our extensive fish and chip menu only.

Very noisy. Took a while before being served. Black pudding dry. Not sure would recommend

Staff were very attentive and professional. Drinks order taken within a couple of minutes after being shown our table, and then gave time for us to choose the meal we wanted. Once food order was taken, it wasn't long before our order arrived. Considering the restaurant was quite busy, I was quite surprised. Meal was hot and fresh and tasty. Very good value for money and will be visiting again soon.

There was three of us for lunch having crab & prawn sandwiches which had a side salad & crisps very enjoyable plate of food. I have been to Greendale many times in the restaurant it was my suggestion to family we meet up there. The problem was they have now decided to play background music. The ceilings are low the restaurant is full of people which is good to see but what with everyone speaking plus the music, where there was a speaker right over our heads it was a din we could hardly hear each other speak I wish I had suggested going somewhere else

Food was ok. Chips a little dry. Service from Julie was fantastic! She is a real asset to you!

You lost our order and left us sitting for nearly an hour with a restless 5 yr old. None of impressed with the food when it did come. Although grandaughter loved the rainbow cake she filled up on. Coffee and cake only if we come again

We eat here regularly and sadly it was a rather disappointing experience this time. Due to a chef down they couldn’t serve omelettes?!? When our food arrived one breakfast was missing so had to wait for it to be cooked When you spend just under £90 for 4 people for breakfast you expect better

First time going for breakfast here and it was awful! My mum and husbands breakfast arrived, I waited 5/10 minutes after them, food came out but it was completely wrong. Had to then wait for another 10 minutes for my food at which point my mum and husband had finished. They then forgot the bacon I asked for, this then got brought out. Staff not really caring, not an apology in sight! Went to pay they tried to over charge me for the bacon. Over all terrible experience, over priced and wouldn’t go back!
