In the heart of the East Devon countryside, surrounded by acres of farmland, you'll find the award-winning Greendale Farm Shop and it's family-friendly café & restaurant. The Greendale Farm Shop Café and Restaurant is much loved by visitors and locals alike. We offer a new extensive menu, created around many of the items sold in our shop and showcasing local produce from our farm and fishing boats. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are no problem and we have a children's menu for the little ones, too. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as tea and coffee, delicious cakes and Devon cream teas.

Once you've eaten why not take a stroll along our family farm trail. The trails follow a level path that’s just right for pushchairs and little legs where you can say hello to all of the animals, including Oscar the Ostrich.

On Sunday and Monday evenings, from 3.30pm, our restaurant serves from our extensive fish and chip menu only.

The service was very good considering park run was on it’s first week and it was very busy. Three of us had omelettes for breakfast and they weren’t that good, over cooked and rubbery. Toast was dry and cold and not enjoyable.

Another lovely catch up with friends. Service outstanding. Food and drink excellent as always. It was quite busy today and a little noisy but overall everything was perfect and we will definitely return again soon.

Excellent fish and chips served hot and promptly. Fish is from their own trawlers. There is an option to have your fish grilled instead of battered.

We enjoyed the food, as expected up to Greendale standards, however the service was slow. My chai latte was only lukewarm on arrival to the table, replaced without question but without apology and no follow-up to ensure I was satisfied. Sorry, but next time we visit we'll go back to the take-away for their excellent fish and chips

Our recent visit to Greendale was disappointing. Despite being a party of five, we were seated at a table for four and later moved to a cold, wet outdoor table. Menus weren’t provided until we asked, the music was overly loud, and the tuna and cucumber sandwich lacked cucumber. While the food was passable, the overall experience was underwhelming.

Excellent food as always, l felt the ordering drinks took a long time to come, on both occasions, disappointed that when we came to pay the girl on the till didn’t know or understand that we wanted to pay 50% of the bill on two separate cards. Staff training required.

At least 6 large dogs in the restaurant which we consider unhealthy. The place did not look very good, no welcome, 15 minutes to get drinks, sullen waitress, poor food. We will not be returning, and would not recommend.
