In the heart of the East Devon countryside, surrounded by acres of farmland, you'll find the award-winning Greendale Farm Shop and it's family-friendly café & restaurant. The Greendale Farm Shop Café and Restaurant is much loved by visitors and locals alike. We offer a new extensive menu, created around many of the items sold in our shop and showcasing local produce from our farm and fishing boats. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are no problem and we have a children's menu for the little ones, too. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as tea and coffee, delicious cakes and Devon cream teas.

Once you've eaten why not take a stroll along our family farm trail. The trails follow a level path that’s just right for pushchairs and little legs where you can say hello to all of the animals, including Oscar the Ostrich.

On Sunday and Monday evenings, from 3.30pm, our restaurant serves from our extensive fish and chip menu only.

We arrived 5mins before our reservation,taken straight to our table perfect,but then awaited over 25 minutes before we asked to be served any drinks and food.the starter was okay.then we ordered our main dish 2 of us ordered greendale steak,the steak came out on its own plate and then still had to wait 3-5 for the chips to go with it.the other meals were just okay..the whole experience was not enjoyable would have reservations about coming back there..

Excellent breakfasts; homemade sausage and free range egg bap; full English (locally produced, free range etc). Really tasty, served quickly and hot. Well done.

Have been several times and always enjoy. This time was particularly good - the value for money is unbeatable frankly, it's lovely venue - they really make the effort and it's unique, food and drink was great.

Lovely meal for my husband’s birthday. The food was delicious. Only problem was I’d booked a table for 8 plus a high chair and on arriving was told only half the table was ready. We ended up being squashed on a table which was really for 6. Had to go and find another chair and eating was definitely interesting! The staff who served us were fabulous. But I do feel if you’ve booked a table in advance you would expect it to be free.

We went to Greendale on Wednesday evening and were seated in the outside restaurant. There was 3 of us, 2 had fish and chips and 1 had a gammon steak. The meals were excellant and the service very good. We also ordered 3 coffees which were cold. We found the back ground music was loud and irritating.
