In the heart of the East Devon countryside, surrounded by acres of farmland, you'll find the award-winning Greendale Farm Shop and it's family-friendly café & restaurant. The Greendale Farm Shop Café and Restaurant is much loved by visitors and locals alike. We offer a new extensive menu, created around many of the items sold in our shop and showcasing local produce from our farm and fishing boats. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are no problem and we have a children's menu for the little ones, too. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as tea and coffee, delicious cakes and Devon cream teas.

Once you've eaten why not take a stroll along our family farm trail. The trails follow a level path that’s just right for pushchairs and little legs where you can say hello to all of the animals, including Oscar the Ostrich.

On Sunday and Monday evenings, from 3.30pm, our restaurant serves from our extensive fish and chip menu only.

2 for 1 on Haddock and chips made this such good value. Superb quality, friendly service Fish - fresh, meaty, flaky Batter - crispy and light Chips - homemade Tartare sauce - yummy Highly Recommended ⭐️🙌🏻

The service was appalling. Ordered drinks and Sunday roast. Food came 15 mins later but no drinks. When I asked the server they stated it is someone one else who brings the drinks and walked away. Ordered dessert, slice of cake and chocolate pudding. 30 minutes later and no still no dessert appeared. Asked a server who responded we are busy. The restaurant was only had a third of the tables occupied. Then said they were short staffed. To be honest there was a lot of stuff but disorganised and unprofessional. Never eaten anywhere where the service is so bad. . Have eaten here before where the service was badand been before thought that this may have been a one off but sadly no.

Well I’ve just had an email asking how was the Greendale Farm Shop Cafe & Restaurant, So here goes, We waited 50 minutes from ordering for our food to come out, We all had fish and chips, The chips was barely warm except for the ones that was sat under the hot fish the mushy peas was barely warm, We’ve ate their many times in the past and sadly never again, The staff was excellent but sadly not enough of them to cope with the amount of customers.

Booking was available straight away, seating was fine after being given option of tables Service was”odd” Guy decided not to use tablet and asked what we’d like to eat and drink then walked away only to return as he’d forgotten a drink. Then did exactly the same thing to another table with juice and cake Overall food was lovely though

We reserved our table for 10am and arrived at 09:55, the table (which was requested if available) was ready for us and very clean. The service was very good and food excellent as always as were the drinks we ordered. Thanks so much and keep up the good work

Love this place. Although not the table waiting person, but another person rolled her eyes when I asked for salad dressing when there were two dining both with salad and I asked for a second dressing, only to face a rolling of the eyes from the server! (Blond hair tied back low ponytail)

Always excellent food and waiting staff very pleasant as was front of house (on this occasion). My friend mentioned her allergies and the waiter was keen to point out the extensive range available….
