The Green Acres restaurant is one of the most popular in the South East.

It is located on the ground floor, surrounded by shelves of the world’s finest wines. The ambiance is friendly, relaxed and is enhanced by the helpful service of a very efficient staff.

The food is prepared under the watchful eye of local Chef Ritchie Trappe and as Wexford is both an agricultural and maritime hinterland, our supplies are sourced locally.

The award winning wine list which has been assembled by James O’Connor and Donal Morris is the most extensive in the Country and offers both value, and outstanding quality.

Beautiful food at a very fair price and lovely staff in a gorgeous setting. Caters for everyone with their menu of lite bites to sandwiches to full dinners. Their chips are to die for - from someone who is usually able to resist! Will definitely be back.

Love love love Green Acres. The food is fabulous. A little pricier than other restaurants but well worth it. The waiters could be more friendly, extremely business like, no banter and we felt very rushed. No water to the table and my husband only drank half his pint of Guinness, he said it was the worst one he's ever had. Overall I would recommend Green Acres for the food and if they improve on my other issues they would be hard to beat.

Food was good but my partner got spicy main course despite asking for non-spicy. Headwaiter (maybe owner) very loud in an otherwise quiet restaurant. Would put you off as he seemed intent on making himself centre of attention. Service average as only three tables were occupied.

Staffing. Junior staff members were great and very wellcoming. Couldn't be better. Management staff were unorganised, loud, rushed, and unbothered about how your experience or how your food was. From the get go didn't even check if we were booked in and it was requested that it was my wife's birthday. Wanted to sit us near the door because we had a baby. Please check reservation first. Didn't even check on the table until we needed the bill to pay which took 15 to 20 mins to get. Food was not up to what it was in the past. Left very unimpressed and to be honest won't be back.
