At Lobdell's, a Teaching Restaurant, you'll enjoy food prepared and served by Great Lakes Culinary Institute students and beautiful bayside views. Lunch is served regularly during fall and spring, while bakery and coffee service is provided in summer. Special events throughout the year include farm to table and world cuisine dinners, as well as cocktail and charcuterie events.

We loved it! Patty made a nice table for us to celebrate my dear friend Kay’s 90th birthday. Megan waited on us and made the experience very special. Thank you! Hope to see you soon♥️

The food, atmosphere and the staff were all outstanding. Some servers used more words than others, which was a great learning experience for the server to keep it very high-level unless the customer asked more questions. We appreciate all you do and the amazing food.

These students did a fabulous job. From prep to service, it was a culinary delight. The dishes are nothing I would have chosen in a restaurant. However, they were incredible and provided an opportunity to expand my palate without regret. Delicious! The students we spoke with raved about their education and the experiences they had, their love and pride showed. Saphyre, our server, truly embraced her opportunity. She strove to answer my endless questions and rose to the occasion. Unfortunately, the more popular, the more difficult it was to get a reservation. Because it is a teaching experience, seating is limited. Such a fabulous evening!

Wow! What a wonderful experience. Our first visit and won’t be the last. The location and views were beautiful but the food and staff take first place. Learning about the program(s) from the wait staff was interesting and their enthusiasm made the experience special. Menu was all encompassing, (Farm to Table). Lobdell’s is now on our restaurant rotation!

We had a reservation for 12:15 at the bar. We were seated promptly and received our drinks and soup course pretty quickly. Unfortunately, our entire took forever. The server kept bringing us more bread. We didn’t end up leaving until 2:30. That was way too long for lunch.

We truly enjoyed dinner here. We had to sit at the bar as these were the only seats available. Turns out, it was the best seat in the house (in our opinion).

I think the noise level calls for some fabric or something. It was a little difficult to hear ourselves. The food was great but they did run out of a few items. We will be back to enjoy the menu, the views and the service.
