The food was bland and underwhelming. Had the butternut squash ravioli that had an odd sour taste and was sitting in a pool of oil with a weird cream underneath it that separated when the two mixed together. Beef Wellington was mediocre at best and the sticky toffee soufflé was undercooked and the caramel sauce tasted burnt. Our server was delightful but that did not make up for the overpriced, mediocre food.

From being welcomed by Maitre D’ Nathan to our leaving was a fantastic experience. The food was beautiful prepared and presented and it was good portion sizes. We weren’t paying for half empty plates! The quality of the food and wine was of the highest. All in all it was a lovely way to celebrate our anniversary.

This was a special occasion and the restaurant certainly stepped up for it. A welcome glass of Prosecco and a special plate of chocolates and fruit after dessert. The tasting menu was outstanding and the service attentive but not intrusive. An overall memorable and enjoyable evening as shown by our party being the last to leave after four and a half hours at the table.

We had a fantastic night dining here. The food was delightful and the service flawless. Definitely coming back. Thanks to Elena and Nitin for their spectacular attention all night taking care of every single detail, they were without a doubt the icing on the cake to make our stay a perfect experience.

Arrived 17.35 for a 17.45 booking (hoping to get to a nearby concert at 19.30). Not served til 18.25! One side ordered by wife did not arrive with the meal. No time for a dessert. Poor lady on the table beside us had the misfortune to order a starter. By the time we left she was still waiting for her main. Won’t be back! Strongly advise not to attempt a pre theatre meal here unless you leave more than ample time!

Poor service, cold empty restaurant, food not hot, staff pretty clueless. Asked for some mustard to have with the Beef Wellington and eventually got told there was none anywhere in the hotel. Used to enjoy dining here but will not return.

Beautiful meal , Lemon Sole and Fillet steak with Panna Cotta , all amazing , plus we were treated to a glass of bubbly and some strawberries and chocolate after our meal as we were celebrating our anniversary this made it so special , thanks highly recommend
