Located at 9 Kensington Square, London, a short stroll from Hyde Park, Grato is a chic Italian restaurant. With a focus on regional cuisine and the freshest ingredients, every dish is imbued with culture. Our handmade pasta is crafted with love in our very own kitchen; our wines are sourced from artisan vineyards. Our evolving menus reflect the seasons and celebrate Italy’s culinary wonders. Sample handmade Pumpkin Ravioli, Fresh Tagliolini with Brixham Crabmeat or the very popular Handmade Malfatti; Indulge in our seasonal Asparagus with Parmigiano Fonduta, Veal Scaloppine, Vanilla Panna Cotta with Pistacchio & Maraschino Cherries. Grato's classic tiramisu is irresistible!!
Dine on the ground floor overlooking one of London's oldest garden squares or you can dine alfresco facing the lush square. At the lower level is another dining room reminiscent of an Italian wine grotto - the perfect space for a celebration.

Absolutely exquisite ambience. Fabulous food (tasty and good portion sizes). And great (polite and kind) service. Loved it. Going to visit again.

Dinner was little hurried but did not come across as “kid” friendly and no kid (friendly) menus. Tasty recipes and food but small portions. Tables / restaurant small and cosy.

We always enjoy at Grato. Peter and his staff, Uriel and Neri, are so friendly welcoming. The food is great. They have a wonderful chef :}. For dessert we enjoy Peter's Tiramisu. He makes it. Sometimes, Peter's wife, Sushma is there who takes an equal interest in running of this wonderful restaurant. She's a lovely person too. Thank you all.

Grato is completely charming: food was perfectly prepared and presented. Excellent for the very reasonable prices. Most of all the staff were welcoming, helpful and in great good humor. We are in London for a week and have reservations for another visit.
