Grappa is a wonderfully semi - intimate place to meet friends, have drinks and eat dinner - The menu is simple and limited, but every entree they offer is top notch and worth trying, and portion sizes are just right and priced reasonably - the atmosphere is just cozy enough that you never feel as if you are sitting within a sea of tables, and here’s the best tip in this review - the bar seating with tables for two offer what I consider the best seats in the restaurant!

We have been meaning to try this restaurant out. We’re happy it was on Open Table since we use it often. When we booked we read through a long page of “rules” we had to agree too: how long we could be seated, would be charged credit card fees if. It is paying in cash, etc. We were a little skeptical. We did go to the bank and get cash. Ugh who uses cash now? Food was ok but not fabulous. Especially compared to prices. They added credit card charges to our bill, but in tiny print on bill they would take it off if we paid in cash. How would we know? They could have upped price of menu items to include fees and no one would blink. Just seemed not customer friendly. Nickel and dime attitude. We are not going back. We go to lots of Hugh end restaurants and don’t blink at prices. That’s business and yes, prices have gone up since Covid. But we believe you should not go out if not affordable. We are retired so not accumulating stuff eating out is our expense.

The noise level was so high and beyond anything I experienced in a nice restaurant.

We had an amazing experience at Grappa for Thanksgiving! The food was outstanding, and everything was beautifully presented. Sarah provided exceptional service, making our first time dining out for the holiday truly special. It was a wonderful atmosphere, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate. Highly recommend it! Thank you, Grappa 🦃

For an expensive meal, the experience was poor. The food came out cold, the female server just dropped all dishes in the middle of the table, and we felt like the food quality was poor enough that we didn't feel well after the meal.

I told our waiters, who was FANTASTIC, that after going to many restaurants on Queen Anne over the past 30 years, that Grappa is one of the only ones that I can say has continued to trend upwards in Service, Quality of Food and consistency. While almost all others up here have become stagnant in those areas, Grappa has become a Go-To restaurant.
