Overall, it was just OK. There were four if not, five bartenders behind the bar and it took way too long to get our initial drink. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy. The food was all right, but I found the menu to be very limited in the bar.

We went for Valentines Day...earliest reservation was 7:30. We arrived early and thought we would have a drink at the bar before being seated. Restaurant was about 50% full. They seated us immediately outside on the patio which was nice. There was an acoustic guitar player playing and the patio wasn't full at all. We ordered a drink and then dinner. The restaurant had a price special menu for the evening with only 5 entrees to select from. Shortly after ordering I was told they had run out of my item (Halibut). I selected another item, which I wasn't thrilled about. Our salads arrived shortly there after then it all stopped. We waited over an hour during which no one came to us at all. The guitar player stopped at 8pm, all other diners left, even those arriving after us. Never saw our waiter. Around 9pm we called the front desk and were told the restaurant was closed - and we asked for someone to come out to us ALONE on the patio to give us our check. We did not eat. The manager came out and was apologetic but NO....We will never return. We offered to pay for our drinks and salad, but they did not charge us.

IT'S WAY OVER PRICE FOR QUALITY AND POTIONS POOR SERVICE FROM ALL STAFF Very poor service. No silverware when main course was served. One dinner order was wrong. Sent it back and ask to bring right order. Paid $223.00 for two SMALL salad and two SMALL fish dinner. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT.

Appetizers and main course were delicious. Saved enough room for the lemon meringue pie. All of it was outstanding. Service was very good.

Always a nice experience at Grapefruit Basil.. I continue to order the Spaghetti squash entree, it’s incredible. You can add shrimp or chicken, or just be vegetarian. The best!!

We ate lunch at the out door area.. it's quiet, tables were not too close to the others .. we ate under the shady area of the beautiful olive tree. Services were good as usual... we had a pleasant lunch ...

Our server was a disaster! We asked about vegan options and he was clueless ……. Didn’t seem to know what that entailed. Service was very, very slow. I had to ask 3 times to get the bill. He also mentioned how was in a fight with the chef over the menu options. Food and ambience was good, though. Server needs to be fired.

Three of us were served at the same time but the fourth mean came 10 minutes later. The first 3 meals were barely warm. The fourth meal was nice and hot. The food was good but we were most disappointed that it wasn’t hotter.

The setting is very nice. Eating outside is also a great option. This is a very lovely resort restaurant. The food is good. We haven't tried that many things yet but have been pleased. Service is very good even though the wait from the order to the table is a bit long. A bit pricey but not unrealistic for the options.
