With its warm, inviting, and modern design, Granite City Food & Brewery’s expansive interior features a spacious and comfortable dining room, four-sided modern, full-service bar, as well as an outdoor patio. The on-site brewery, with award-winning hand-crafted micro-brews, is visible from the main dining and bar areas. The restaurant also showcases an open kitchen featuring chef developed, handcrafted made-from-scratch cuisine, including innovative signature entrees, flatbreads and more.

Granite City Food & Brewery’s signature brews, which are made on-site, include The Duke (Pale Ale), The Bennie (Bock), and The Northern (American Style Light Lager). Seasonal brews are featured throughout the year.

The menu is plentiful of delicious options. The issue that has been on repeat for the last three visits (over eight months) is the food is done and then waits and waits and waits under the warming lamps. By the time the food is brought to the table, flatbreads look like they are day old, burgers are warm not hot and soup has that layer it gets when it’s been sitting out. Service is simply sub par for the expensive menu.

Great service. No wait time. We ordered the Cajun Jambalaya. We shared it and both ordered a house salad. Still had leftovers. The Cajun Jambalaya was not to spicy

Arrived early for our reservation. Was seated next to a couple of screaming kids, requested to move to another section. We were told they had a party of 12 coming in and we could not be moved. Five minutes later a party of 6 was seated where we requested to move. Waitress was too engaged with a co-worker and her kids seated behind our group that we sat at waited for our food as guests who arrived after us were eating. Requested a salad with meal and asked for it to be brought out before meal. Had to ask about it when our food finally arrived and ended up sending it back. Ordered second round of drinks when food arrived and watched waitress walk around on her phone and finally brought drinks when we requested a to go box and our tickets. Horrible service and she did nothing but give excuses instead of making it better. Likely will not return to this location, amazing food but service sours the experience.

Server was good but too busy. My food was very good. I received my beer when I was almost done with my food. Guest’s food was too salty. It was difficult to eat.

Our waiter was just plain rude! We were there having a small family gathering & he was rude & inattentive. And it wasn’t that busy- lots of empty tables. .
