With its warm, inviting and modern design, Granite City Food & Brewery’s expansive interior features a spacious and comfortable dining room, four-sided modern, full-service bar and three private dining areas, as well as an outdoor patio. The on-site brewery, with award-winning hand crafted micro-brews, is visible from the main dining and bar areas. The restaurant also showcases an open kitchen featuring chef developed, handcrafted made-from-scratch cuisine, including innovative signature entrees, flatbreads and more.


Granite City Food & Brewery’s signature brews, which are made on-site, include The Duke (Pale Ale), The Bennie (Bock), The Batch (Double IPA), The Northern (American Style Light Lager) and The Stout. Seasonal brews are featured throughout the year.

    My husband and I went for Taco Tuesday specials: $3 margaritas - which were awesome - and $10 for 3 tacos, which were extremely disappointing. There were four choices for tacos (shrimp, chicken tinga, fish, & beef). I was really unpleasantly surprised that all 3 tacos in each order all had to be the same. Regrettably, I ordered shrimp tacos. I expected grilled shrimp and, to my dismay, they came out deep fried. That wasn’t nearly as disappointing as the fact that they were drowning in an overpowering sweet chili sauce. There weren’t many other ingredients in the taco other than a few shreds of lettuce and dribbled of another white sauce, which when paired with the chili sauce completely submerged my shrimp. There was no flavor other than the (seemingly) bottled sauce, which was dripping all overmy plate. They were served with chips - which were really good - and a decent salsa. My husband ordered the chicken tinga tacos and they were OK, but were spicier than they needed to be and covered In shredded cheese. His tacos were filled much fuller than mine, though, so I guess that would be the upside to the chicken ones. Our server was pleasant, but the meh food left us feeling very bummed about our experience. In short, the Taco Tuesday deals are a good price (great price for the margaritas!!), but not good enough to ever try it again unless they seriously work on their flavors.

    Great service. Hostess took us table very quickly. Nice Booth. Unfortunately, near a large group of noisy people. My son and I both ordered from their daily specials menu. It was a Monday so it was BYOB hamburger night. Good price and very small up charges if you want past a regular burger and fries at $6. It was also refill your growler for a good price. I think it was $6 dollars also. Overall, good daily specials and excellent beer.

    Brought my husband and brothers to brunch as a treat this location gave very racist vibes as I arrived 10 mins early and watched as they had all the black people wait for seating reservations set same time as white counterparts who were sat immediately after waiting 15 minutes past our reservation to be sat we were sat at a still partially dirty table were not given silverware until asked the floors were dirty and slippery and greasy and the restaurant itself smells dirty and unsanitary as I was other family members who required walkers slipped are way through the restaurant the seating was very disruptive to the guest we had to keep asking others to allow us to walk through to the brunch line we are regulars to brunch at maple grove location and had never experienced such a horrible experience the food line was ridiculous and continually empty where I needed to ask for refills we were told we could not have our prime rib made to our liking of well done then manager said he would cook it to our liking in back he put our meat in the microwave we will never visit this location ever again never have we attended any brunch and had just one plate we did not feel welcome and it was not worth my money

    The food was very good, especially since this was a buffet on a busy holiday. I’ve had brunch in the past at different Granite City locations and it’s always been good. It was somewhat frustrating to try to get our server’s attention as it was so busy and it appeared there was not enough wait staff.

    We went with the family (party of 9) for Fathers Day for the buffet. We enjoyed the food, but the service was subpar. No plates were ever cleared away, making the table very crowded, we got a couple wrong drink orders and took a long time to get the bill. Also the buffet was expensive for the quality of the food and service. update: I emailed the company as requested in the comment, and they did nothing. I did not even hear back.

    We had a reservation for when the restaurant opened so there weren't long lines and the food was very fresh.

    I really do enjoy the brunchs here, however, this past experience was very poor. Food quality has gone and so has the service unfortunately. Also, the restaurant is in need of some deep cleaning.

    My party of four agreed that the restaurant temperature was cold…. The food was excellent but we ate in a hurry to be able to get back outside to warm up. Our server was very good but seemed preoccupied. I felt that he might have been relatively new and was trying to remember everything.. overall we enjoyed our experience and would definitely go back.
