Grandview Saloon is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and offers a beautiful view of the city from Mt. Washington. This restaurant has a distinct ambiance that is casual but classy and a team of chefs and wait staff who are there to ensure you have a great meal. There is an outdoor patio and an upper deck which overlooks the city, as well as an elegant dining room indoors. Grandview Saloon also features a mezzanine available for private dining and events. We had a good meal with an incredible view of the city. Waitress was friendly and efficient. Food was quite good for the modest price.

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in the outdoor seating area on the deck overlooking the beautiful, lit up city of Pittsburgh. The views were amazing, the atmosphere was amazing, and the food was really good! Perfect experience celebrating our marriage milestone!

The only thing going for the Grandview Saloon is the view. The food is just so-so for the higher costs. Feels more like an upscale bar with food than a restaurant/steak house.

This was our second trip to the saloon. The views are outstanding and the food is ranging from pretty good to outstanding. Our main courses of pork and chicken were amazing and we both loved our regular and sweet potato mashes as well as our drinks of sangria and Irish coffee. Will of course be back as this is quickly becoming our favorite place on Mount Washington. The only disappointment on the plate were the brussel sprouts, which were boiled or steamed and finished with a propane-fueled blast that we could still taste. In an era of roasted brussel sprouts being the norm, these were a throwback we didn't expect.

Great location, great views - beyond a doubt - food was good - but expensive. Seamless table reservation system - did get the table next to the window that I requested. Excellent service even on a busy night. It was louder than I expected, sometimes difficult to hear our conversation. (It was a moderately busy night - 7pm on a Friday). We will return when the weather is nicer to be able to sit outside on the patio.

Showed up with a reservation and was told they’d “see what bar seating was available.” I had requested a window table and the restaurant was half full. Refused to serve an ID that expired 2 weeks ago (well over 21). Charcuterie board looked like it was thrown together by a 3 year old. Rude host and server. Got the check and left as fast as possible. Went up the street to Monterrey bay where we had a fantastic experience. Don’t waste your time or money here. Worst restaurant on Mt. Washington by far. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.
