Grandma’s Saloon and Grill is a casual but lively adventure to the past where value and customer service are at the center of everything we do. The award winning food includes overstuffed sandwiches and burgers; house specialty pasta and wild rice dishes; appetizers homemade onion rings, chicken wings, and stuffed mushrooms. This is one of my favorite restaurants. The Steak Cheese French is the best sandwich ever made.

Iconic location with outstanding, unparalleled ambience. The food? Pretty good, but not great. You go for the history, the vibe, and of course, the onion rings.

Our server was knowledgeable and helpful but not friendly. The hostesses were very rude especially to the elderly, disturbingly so. I witnessed one hostess toss the menus on a table and walk away when an elderly lady asked a question. I also saw them tell a young g girl she couldn’t use the rest room because she wasn’t a paying customer. Interestingly enough the family had just walked out from having a meal and the young girl said she needed the bathroom and so they were walking back in. The young girl ran out in tears. So rude!

We came about a half an hour early. Did a little bit of shopping and saw that they were seating people that just walked in the door so we asked if we could sit early and they told us that because of the shift change we were unable to do that.
