Wonderful service, delicious flavors, great drinks, beautiful presentation, and most of all they were attentive to the note I provided about being gluten free. The server brought out a little added bonus of some delicious gf corn cakes with a unique, amazing butter.

Food was mediocre, service was also mediocre and the price was way too high for what our experience turned out to be. It was a very disappointing ! Our bill for 4 people 4 drinks , 2 appetizers , 4 main courses and 1 dessert was an astonishing $600 including the $100 tip!! We would have been happier if any part of our meal was exceptional in any way!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Granddam at The Manchester Hotel is a standout among hotel restaurants. If you’re like me, you might assume that hotel restaurants have a reputation for being overpriced with mediocre food. This is not the case here. The Granddam elevates the standard with exceptional food and service that goes far beyond expectations. Side bar: We might be a little biased, though—we enjoyed the food so much that we hired Chef Paula and The Granddam to host lunch for our wedding, but that should speak for itself! This is our first time back in almost 11 months because life has been so busy. The ambiance is beautiful, like stepping into a scene from The Great Gatsby. It’s elegant, timeless, and sets the perfect tone for a memorable dining experience. The rotating seasonal menu keeps things fresh and exciting. We loved the surprise! Our picks were the Hog Hornado & Mussels, Wood-Fired Mushrooms, Caesar Salad, and Sweet Potato Raviolon—each dish full of flavor and creativity. For drinks, I had a perfectly balanced Paper Plane, while my wife enjoyed a delicious Espresso Martini. Todd, our server, was fantastic—personable, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. He made sure our drinks and water were always topped off and even noted from our reservation that we had a concert to catch next door at Manchester Music Hall. He went above and beyond by remembering our upcoming one-year wedding anniversary and surprised us with a dessert, which made the night even more special. Highly recommend dining here, whether you’re staying at the hotel or just stopping in for an exceptional meal!

Lovely, upscale, lush details make for an impressive ambience. Guitar music by Ben Lacy was the only redeeming touch and provided much needed human interaction. Hostess was not engaged nor was the server and didn’t follow up after our food was served. Food was good. Prices ok. Tables around us remained unbussed and the place was 20% occupied. One should not have to flag down the server for salt and pepper. No dessert was mentioned or offered. This was my second visit and will be my last. Recommend server training and consider having a manager on the floor to ensure that standards are met.

My brussel sprouts came out burnt had to send it back. I understand that some of it will come out looking like that but not the whole side. My steak was like eating beef stew. My dessert was frozen cheesecake didn't like that idea. Overall we will return.

The food is great. They use to have an awesome cocktail menus with a killer mezcal drink. But for some reason they got rid of it and now have some really awful cocktails. Hard to justify a $200 meal when the cocktails are terrible
