We are from the USA so everything tastes a little different to us. However, in this case, different was very good!

The whole experience was very enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and well presented. For anyone who enjoys their food the Canecutter's Parmi is for you. My wife's Eye Fillet was cooked to perfection.

We shared number of entrees instead of having a main course etc. The Coffin Bay oysters, the Togarashi Scallops and the Greek Fried Calamari were excellent. The Beetroot Cured ocean Trout was a bit salty for our taste buds otherwise it would have been 5 stars. The service staff member was excellent and responsive to our requests allowing us to stagger orders over the evening. There was no delay with drink orders. Highly recommend.

Service and atmosphere was great. We have been here many times and have always enjoyed our time at Grandview, however this visit was awful. Drinks and staff were good. The food was really poor and disappointing. Entree of brisket burnt ends - was small chunks of beef pan fried in flour.... Main of Prawn and scallop risotto - was gluggy boiled rice with peas and seafood on top.... Really disappointing.

Arancini balls were tasty. Seafood risotto was bland. Ordered the limoncelllo dessert but was given the banoffee. Don't live in Bowen but doubt we'd go back if visiting sgain
