My mom and I went out to dinner for a special evening honoring my dad. He had passed away 4 years ago that day. We had a delightful evening with wonderful meals (Shrimp and Grits for mom and I had the Seasonal Vegetables with grilled Chicken over pasta). The evening was capped off by the most delicious slice of Limoncello Cake! We shared a funny story about our memories of dad enjoying Limoncello while in Rome (it was a true “God wink” moment). We were truly surprised by their kind gesture to give us the dessert on the house. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Thank you Grand Ticino!

Excellent food and exceptional service. We are regular customers and the food and service are always very good. Highly recommend the restaurant without any reservations.

The service was great. The ambience and atmosphere was very good. The food was not good. The pasta with the chicken Parm had a ton of water and was incredibly sweet. The chicken was presented in a way that I haven’t seen before and was really lacking in taste. The salad that I ordered came out on a warm plate. The staff was very nice, but I don’t think we’ll be back. it just wasn’t a good match for us.

Outstanding at all levels. The finest Italian food in Birmingham. The pizzas are phenomenal.

My fourth or fifth time dining here. I’ve never had a bad experience. The food is consistently delicious. I ordered the steak for the first time and it was glorious. Staff from hostess, to server, to bartender to food deliverer- all were polite, professional, and helpful. Can’t wait to go back.

Food was good but not great. Expected more since the owner restaurant Amores is so wonderful. This was our second visit. Don’t know if I want to try again.

Food was great. Not used to an Italian restaurant having to purchase bread. Had to go find someone to get me and wife a second glass of wine to have with dinner. Delivered meal and never checked back until I had to get up to find someone. Not a server in the room. All with bartender in back of house.
