Located in the heart of Trump Turnberry is The Grand Tea Lounge & Bar with enchanting views across the famous links to the sea. The Grand Tea Lounge & Bar is a truly wonderful experience and the perfect place for afternoon tea in Ayrshire. Guests can also indulge in champagne by the glass or a special Hendricks Gin.

Featuring over 150 whiskies, it is the perfect place to relax and reflect. As dusk settles, The Grand Tea Lounge & Bar comes alive as a meeting place for pre and post dinner drinks. Treat yourself to a glass of Trump wine or sample one of hundreds of whiskies behind the bar, recommended by one of our knowledgeable bartenders. A beautiful afternoon tea in beautiful surroundings. We were looked after from the time we stepped into the hotel until we stepped out. Staff were excellent and courteous.. 5 stars all around.. A big thanks to everyone...

Nice view and the staff try hard but are obviously poorly trained, few in number and lack management. Grossly overpriced, poorly presented and making a decent pot of tea is a skill too far.

Second afternoon tea and it was just as wonderful as the first time, lovely atmosphere and quality food with excellent service.

The environment was lovely. There are some areas that can be improved eg the sandwiches and cakes were brought out with the scones to follow once the sandwiches were finished. The delay between the delivery of the first food stack and the scones was too long and as the sun was coming in the windows and the area had become warm, the cake cream and chocolate was melting. This was disappointing as scones should be eaten after sandwiches and before cakes but, due to the wait, the cakes were not very edible having warmed and melted. I would recommend in such warm circumstances, sandwiches and scones are brought out and the cakes follow, if they cannot be brought out together. The services was not as attentive as I would have expected. It was difficult to get people’s attention.

Thank you for taking such great care of us on our visit for afternoon tea. All of the staff were so friendly, helpful and polite. The views were spectacular, the food was great and the drinks were exceptional 🙏🏻 Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome.

I was disappointed with the service. When my teapot leaked and didn't pour it was because the packing was still inside the spout. It was taken away for replacement as well as my tea strainer and cup and saucer. After a short wait a new teapot of tea was brought to the table with a cup. When the server never came back I had to ask for a saucer and teaspoon plus tea strainer.
