Located in the heart of Trump Turnberry is The Grand Tea Lounge & Bar with enchanting views across the famous links to the sea. The Grand Tea Lounge & Bar is a truly wonderful experience and the perfect place for afternoon tea in Ayrshire. Guests can also indulge in champagne by the glass or a special Hendricks Gin.

Featuring over 150 whiskies, it is the perfect place to relax and reflect. As dusk settles, The Grand Tea Lounge & Bar comes alive as a meeting place for pre and post dinner drinks. Treat yourself to a glass of Trump wine or sample one of hundreds of whiskies behind the bar, recommended by one of our knowledgeable bartenders. Or, why not relax and unwind with some of our signature cocktails such as the 'Ailsa Breeze' which features a delicious combination of Hendrick’s gin, Elderflower, Lime, Mint, Cucumber and Ginger Ale.

We had a lovely afternoon, a fantastic table with a fabulous view. After being seated we waited 45-50 mins before our order was taken, once our food arrived (which was good), our tea arrived a bit after that by which time we had started eating. No one asked us when we left whether we had enjoyed our lunch or thanked us for coming.

On average we had 6 to 7 waiting staff who didn't communicate with each other. We chose to take scones away - disappointed to find they were not fresh

I’d been here before so knew what to expect. My mum and sister hadn’t been and they were so impressed from start to finish. Food, surroundings, service, staff, just superb! I can’t think of anywhere better.

Huge let down in service compared to previous visits . Very disappointing experience , will not be back sadly. An afternoon tea at Turnberry is meant to be a special treat experience , where being made to feel special is what sets it apart rather used to set it apart. We have no complaints about the standard of food which was good. However , there was no one to welcome us, no one offered to take our jackets , there was no explanation and introduction to the various teas and the afternoon tea service ( from previous experience ) , no tea strainers , tea timers , tea trolley , the personal approach was missing completely ; there was a stained tea cup which we had to ask to be changed . Overall a mediocre experience .

Trump Turnberry is my favourite for afternoon tea, it was delicious and plentiful. The service is excellent and the views are simply stunning .

Great experience, however a little expensive but a great afternoon out to celebrate a special occasion. Service 5 star as is the food and surroundings.
