The Grand Hall is the perfect place to start your morning while admiring the vaulted ceiling and a view of Mobile Bay. Featuring a classic breakfast menu that utilizes seasonal and local products, and hand-crafted breads as well as breakfast pastries that are baked in house each morning. The elegant ambiance is complemented by an a la carte menu designed to satisfy every appetite. Breakfast Buffet availability is based on business volume. Excellent brunch buffet with a wide variety of breakfast and lunch fare. The food quality was excellent. The downside was the overall noise level. There was (loud) live music in the dining room which caused the patrons to shout across every table and it made conversation nearly impossible. The historic facility was noteworthy.

It was delightful to find a lovely hotel buffet with an outstanding variety of foods. Service was excellent. I would not hesitate to go again.

The Grand will forever hang its hat on being the dame of the bay! The property is gorgeous! The views incredible. Brunch has been on our radar for years and maybe our expectations were set too high. The price point, upwards of $50.00 per person, made us believe were about to be swooned. (Recently had brunch at Commander’s Palace in New Orleans for less and the food was 100x better). The Grand has a wide variety of stations. The seafood bar was constantly out (reservations at 12:00n - they open at 11:45a) even though it was clear the attendant was doing all she could to keep it replenished. Maybe a larger set up if it’s that popular? The carving station was nice. The buffet had tons of choices but lacked quality. The omelet station was the star of the show for me. The attendant was engaging, efficient and made a perfect omelet! The dessert bar was meh. The bread pudding looked like it was days old. The mini tarts were meh. Service was as expected for a nice resort hotel. At the end of the day, it was good but we were clearly not swooned.

The Sunday brunch never disappoints. We go 2x year - my husband’s bday & our anniversary. This was for our anniversary. We always feel so special & receive a nice little treat. We sat at the windows closest to the bay & the view was awesome. We were farther away from the band so conversations at other tables made it hard to hear the music at times but certainly didn’t lessen our experience. Looking forward to our next visit

Great Jazz Brunch. $50 included mimosas and buffet. Omelet station, meat carving station, shrimp and oysters, quiche, bananas foster station and so much more. Enjoyed!

Beautiful hotel and dining room, excellent service, wonderful buffet with a great selection. The must try is the Crab Scramble at the Omelet station. Perfect anniversary!
