Grand Central is a good lively venue with a good selection of beers and the parmi night on Thursday’s is outstanding value for money, you have to sign up on the app to get the reduced parmi price and if you want a table inside you are best to book.

The trivia host is alright, but I’m biased towards that one. Never had bad service from any of the crew there over the last few years either. Great place for a pint and a yarn. Food is great. Atmosphere is chilled. Never leave unhappy. (Embarrassed a few times, but that’s because of the trivia host).

There was no mention of a function at the grand when I booked the table so when we arrived the lady at the entrance would not let us in as there was a function and it was $20 cover charge. So we left and went to the Tambrey where we had an amazing feed and watched a great band play…. For free.

The table was where I had requested. The pizza was value for money, beer here in Karratha is still to expensive.

The boys had the Parmis and I had the steak. The meals were great. My steak was cooked to perfection 🥰 done exactly as I asked.

Unfortunately the food was underwhelming, expensive for the quality, disappointing flavour and this negatively impacted the overall experience. I ordered chicken parmigiana which was $32, served with chips and salad. The dark green salad leaves were soggy, inedible and had clearly expired. The chicken has pieces of aluminium foil stuck to the cheese and bacon. I would have returned the food to the kitchen if I hadn't had already just waited 45 minutes for it.

Whodunnit murder mystery night was amazing! Fun and immersive. Cost was affordable for everyone. Hope you host more nights like that!!
