Set in the former Federal Reserve Bank's grand hall, glamour meets worn-in authenticity at the classic Italian restaurant with an inviting atmosphere. Grana’s original soaring ceilings, ornate moldings and fixtures, lush velvet furniture and world-class art collection make it the most perfectly-imperfect setting for an approachable menu of authentic Italian dishes created to inspire long conversations, festive celebrations and years of return visits.

Executive Chef Daniel Burger serves breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch using local and seasonal ingredients. Great experience. We had brunch menu and it was so delicious. Service was amazing too we had Martha attend to us and she was friendly attentive and super professional.

This is our 2nd year dining here on Christmas. First time was two years ago and we were so impressed with the beautiful Christmas decorations, tasty food and cocktails, elaborate dessert buffet table, and Santa visiting each table with his little helper taking a Polaroid photo of us. This year was slightly different. It had everything I’ve mentioned before, except the lighting there was very bright. Was not warm and enchanting/romantic like the first time we went. Santa also skipped the tables on the right side! We didn’t get our photo with him unfortunately, so that was a bummer. Two out of the four specialty cocktails were also served in a very small glass, maybe 4 ozs? They go for $19 and $20. Pretty steep drinks for that size. Overall, it was still a beautiful experience. I hope they take notes and dim the lights to give it a more magical feel enhancing the tree and chandelier lights, have Santa make his rounds to all the tables (we were there on time for the 5pm), and don’t skimp on the cocktail portions. Our first experience was better than the second.

There was nothing outstanding about our meal at Grana on Christmas day except the price, The prix fixe three course menu was adequate but much of the food itself was dry. The amuse-bouche tasted like stale gingerbread rather than fresh toast. The Christmas "Ham" was actually hard to cut it was so dried out and the sides tasted as if they had been cooking since Christmas Eve. The dessert buffet was very nice. The service was efficient, but inattentive. Overall, I would say that our meals were fair but not worth the very expensive price.

Atmosphere and service were wonderful. Considering the cost, I expected the food to be much better. It was a great venue for Christmas though.

First time dining at Grana and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. Seven of us enjoyed a family holiday brunch - excellent food served so professionally. Holiday ambiance was elegant and picturesque. Our server even provided us with a little history lesson about the building and the paintings adorning the walls. We all agreed that we would return next holiday season for the family brunch, if not sooner!
