Grain & Cane - Bar & Table is your home for hospitality in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. An homage to family nostalgia, our neighborhood table is built on the Connell legacy, as leading American rice and sugar cane purveyors and community idealists. Our menu features dishes that nod to family tradition, regional flare, and vibrant flavors, such as seasonal cocktails, our famous Grover Double Burger and Shrimp Tostada. Strong roots and dynamic character serve as the blueprint for a thoughtful selection of craft beers, wine, and cocktails. Vintage art and antique photographs from past Connell generations set a backdrop for a convivial atmosphere – a restaurant and bar ideal for a range of experiences, from casual occasions to magnetic celebrations. I chose the ricotta raviolini it was underwhelming, be ready for some tough corn. The Malbec met specifications for it’s price point.

Great space with an outdoor area that is covered. And...they have a designated fryer so gluten free people can eat french fries and they are really good!

Food was good but way more expensive than peer restaurants. Service was cold and like they were doing us a favor rather than warm and inviting.

Everything was lovely. We were seated immediately, our server was friendly and very efficient. The food choices were great. Our shared appetizer was delicious and we had time to enjoy it. Our dinners were an aromatic, picturesque, and truly flavorful experience. Grain and Cane never disappoints.

Delightful surprise! Loved the pepperoni honey pizza. The vegetable curry was outstanding and we shared the grilled chocolate cake, berry cobbler and toffee bread pudding- truly amazing. Great obience and serve too.

We sat outside on a beautiful summer night and enjoyed a lovely dinner with friends. Everyone enjoyed their food- we hared two appetizers that were plentiful and beautifully presented and the burgers were done just right! It was not full and they did not rush us out so we lingered over coffee for a while. Great vibe, cool decor made a great backdrop. The outside space is lovely and we noticed that there are heaters so we will be back even when it gets cooler.
