La mission du Gracias Madre est de célébrer et de servir la présence de cette mère omniprésente, dans les cœurs comme dans la terre, et de tous ceux qui nourrissent cette terre. Le restaurant sert une cuisine inspirée des cuisines du Mexique, faite à partir d'ingrédients biologiques cultivés localement. Venez prendre place à la table de l'amour. L'idée du Gracias Madre provient des visites des familles mexicaines des employés du restaurant. La mission est double : proposer une nourriture mexicaine biologique aux communautés à proximité et honorer ces mères mexicaines qui travaillent sans relâche dans leurs cuisines, souvent seules avec leurs enfants, pendant que leurs maris travaillent en Californie. Inspiré par quelques-unes des recettes de ces familles et de l'amour maternel, le Gracias Madre sert la cuisine de la chef Chandra Gilbert, faite à partir de produits biologiques provenant de fermes locales, pleine de saveurs et d'amour. Une sélection de cocktails à base d'agave du chef des boissons Jason Eisner agémente le menu.

Food was good. I’m new this this vegan lifestyle. Everything was superb. If I had any complaints. The waitress never told me her name. She was helpful at all. I had to keep waving her down to get her attention. I felt like I was bothering her because I wanted to keep ordering food and drinks. I would go back. I would just hope I don’t get the same server. All of her co-workers were very helpful. The food and ambience is quite nice.

Who would have thought it - vegan Mexican food. Great food complimented by an attentive and friendly staff. Count me in again on my return. Happy hour was a great value and I would recommend their house margarita. Cheers to an outstanding experience.

Ambiance is great, great happy hour, the guac was $18 and not nearly as big of a portion as it should’ve been for that price. I would go back for the margs for happy hour, but the food was overpriced and didn’t have much flavor.

First time here and can’t wait to go back. I had been hearing about this place for years, my only regret is not coming sooner! Food was delicious, service was friendly. Had to stop myself from ordering everything on the menu. Really nice atmosphere and experience eating here. Tried the ceviche, queso fundido, gordita, tacos, guac and everything was delicious!

First the food didn’t show up after 1h, then the waitress said it just takes a minute more, what in the end took also 15min more. For apology the waitress offered desserts for free. But when the bill came, even the desserts were listed. The cherry one the top was the tip that they directly included, because we were more than 6. But obviously we’re 4 adults plus kids. All together was just disappointing.

Being a fan of the Newport Location for years .. my go to place for feeling at home since I am a vegetarian.. dishes and drinks are delicious ( can’t go wrong with any item). Was around the area and had to stop by and have a meal.. I tried their new Dine LA lunch menu .. worth it !! I am hoping the bring back the Newport location so I get to visit more. If that is not enough the service was A+

This wasn’t my first time coming here, the first time was dinner, this time was lunch. Everything was delicious and the price was fair for the $25 lunch special which included an appetizer, entree, and drink. The potato Flauntas were perfectly crispy and full of flavor! We were seated in a corner towards the kitchen and I was pleased that there was NO kitchen noise! My friend whom is not vegan was blown away by the dishes and throughly enjoyed her meal.
