Average food at average prices, we were there on a Saturday and my food was a little dry, not very fresh but fine. The scrambled eggs were described on the menu as “creamy” but they were dry. There were also 3 slices of bread for some reason and not enough butter.

I was on a flying visit so just ordered the Caesar salad and tea, but the service was prompt, and the staff working there are always very pleasant. My salad had plenty of bacon and succulent chicken with thoughful zesty bursts here and there. I'd easily have eaten two bowls of it. The only criticism I might have is that every table should automatically have a jug of water with ice and a slice of lemon, lime or cucumber. That's just me being nitpicky. I'll definitely be back.

Have had breakfast and lunch in gourmet food parlour many times. The food is fantastic .. Well done Chefs! Waiting staff are excellent and extremely efficient and friendly.

First time there this morning for brunch. Food was excellent. Really great quality. And the staff were fantastic. Loved it and will be back

Had an enjoyable meal yesterday with my daughter. Food and service were good and the Spritz (on special right now) was excellent. Would go back again.

Food was mediocre and not freshly cooked. Service was attentive but courses came out like on a rollercoaster. Pity given the lovely location and decor.

Terrible meal altogether. The brushcetta with whipped feta came on soggy bread. The gnocchi was sticky and tasteless and the sauce that it was in was like a tin of tomatoes with little cubes of beef. My husband ordered the red curry and that tasted like prawns in a tinned tomato soup. No flavour whatsoever. Very disappointed overall. We ordered off the set menu but when the bill came we were charged from the main menu when we pointed it out we were told we should of said we wanted it from the set menu, but we had. It was rectified. The only plus was the staff were pleasant and professional.
