    I don't like that there is no bread basket at the restaurant and they said they could not make one of the desserts to go. The cost is more than the food is worth.

    Food and service were great.  But getting hit with a 20% service fee, and then putting “service fee is not a tip” on the receipt was too galling for me. I probably won’t be back.

    Pricey, but worth every cent. I ordered the fixed price menu, paired with wine, which I have done at one of his restaurants in Vegas. This one, though similar, was incredibly better.

    Not worth the hype. The food was fine, but not great. It was over hyped and over priced IMO. We went here for my husband's birthday and based on our experience at Hells Kitchen in Las Vegas, this was disappointing. The ambiance away from the kitchen was the best part. The staff was awkward, except for the guy that brought our water. When we got our bill, we were told that the 20% service fee already added to our bill does not include any tip to our waiter. I certainly wasn't leaving another 18-20% tip on an almost $600 bill for 4 ppl. To add insult to injury, we ordered a dessert for the table but I also reminded our waiter it was my husband's birthday when we first arrived. Instead of presenting him with a small individual whatever dessert and a candle, they brought out the small dessert we ordered for the table with 4 candles in it to present to him....and it was on our bill. Cheesy and cheap!!! We've been to nearly every fine dining restaurant in DC and this has never been our experience. Won't be coming back. Many other options with a better experience.

    hectic, uneasy, fast food atmosphere - not really what you expect in a fine dine temple, seen it, do not recommend it

    From the drinks, to the appetizers, to the main course (beef Wellington) and of course the toffee cake, everything was immaculate..excellent service as well!

    The risotto was excellent, except the lobster was a little over cooked. Braised short ribs were tastey. Noisey table beside us with major lights taking pics of food, selfies, etc.... very disruptive. Our server was excellent and very attentive.
