Bienvenidos, y'all!

Inspired by long days on the Gulf, late nights on the ranch and the colorful creations of our abuela, our family's Kitchen & Cantina showcases the rich foods and traditions we grew up with on both sides of the border.

Nothing matches the flavor of food grilled over mesquite. Try wood-fired Texas quail swaddled in homemade tortillas, jalapeno rellanos stuffed with house-made chorizo and sizzling, family-style parrilladas - huge mixed platters of wild game and fresh vegetables, topped with pico de gallo and queso fresco - a unique spin on Houston barbeque.

Our days begin roasting chilies and tomatoes, rolling fresh tortillas in our bakery and wringing every last drop of Ruby Red grapefruit for cocktails. We hand-grind our own sausage and hand-trim every ounce of meat in our butchery, then anoint it with the savory seasonings and marinades we've honed over generations.

A few margaritas on our patio and you've found your new casa sweet casa.

Kayla was our server and she was awesome. She served us 2 weeks ago and we asked for her again. The food was delicious. We had guacamole, split the 1936 salad and had redfish on the half shell. We eat this every time now because it it so good. We have eaten enough here many times.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant and I've been going here for years before moving back to Houston from California in 2009. Every time I visited my sister n Houston, we always made a trip here. Now living in Houston since 2022 it continues to be my favorite Mexican restaurant with great food at fantastic prices. The marinated Carnita I had today is a favorite and highly recommended. The staff are always very friendly and service spot on.

I did not realize Goode's Cantina were open for brunch on Saturdays starting at 9:00 AM. I enjoyed scrambled eggs with chorizo sausage, Mexican rice, refried beans and shared a very fluffy pancake with a friend that joined me. We shared our meals, and the pancake was a total surprise. My favorite Mexican restaurant and always get good service when dining here.

We love Goode Company Kitchen and Cantina! Last 2 times we’ve ordered, my husband first, then me, the enchiladas. Both times they came out opposite of what we asked. Next time, because there will be one, we will make sure we tell our server what transcribed before. Our server was Rueben and he was great!

They've improved over the years; they used to be adequate-- like their salsa. Queso adequate, salsa bland, shrimp campechana, a rave. Got burned on my hot plate-- no warning, "careful the plate is hot." I'd return despite
