Good Fortune is a Hunger Thirst Group concept and the latest Asian Fusion restaurant and bar in Downtown St. Petersburg. Located inside the iconic Station House, 260 1st Ave South, Good Fortune serves sushi and a variety of Asian dishes and specialty drinks, including Japanese whiskeys and different styles of Sake along with local beers, wine and bubbles.

IMPORTANT POLICIES, TERMS, & CONDITIONS:
Policies & Terms:
• Fri-Sat live DJ, 21+ required after 9 PM (with ID).
• No-Call No-Show fee for Karaoke/Dining: $25-$100.
• 20% gratuity for parties of 6+.
• NO FOOD is allowed in the Karaoke room. Book dining separately.
• No alcohol if anyone is under 21 years old.
• 15-min grace period; Please call if late. We may contact you if you do not contact us first. Please ensure your email and phone number are up to date.

I booked the karaoke room for my bachelorette about 2 months in advance. I hadn’t heard from the restaurant until 2 hours before the scheduled time when all my friends were already in town dressed and ready and they told me they couldn’t accommodate us. They said their hours changed from the hurricane (which was about 1-2 months before our scheduled time) and they don’t look at their reservations until the day of. I was extremely frustrated. After being on the phone arguing for 20+ minutes they called the group before us and luckily the group before wasn’t planning on coming for karaoke. Otherwise I would have been screwed with nothing else to do the first night of my bachelorette. We arrive to the restaurant and waited 10 minutes for them to clean the room (even though they knew we were coming) and so we started 10 minutes later than our scheduled time. Mind you we only had an hour since they close at 10 and they moved our spot to 9 so we could have a full hour. So starting 10 minutes late, and it was great for about 10 minutes. The machine for the karaoke was buggy for the entire hour, randomly disconnecting or shutting off altogether. I was extremely excited to go to good fortune for karaoke, but ultimately there were too many issues for me to say I had a great time. Ok at best.

The time spent in the kareoke room was absolutely wonderful. But service was sloppy for my party after we went to get food. It was an after dinner for my sister and we were celebrating her bachelorette. Some mistakes were made where we had to wait over 39 minutes for food and even most drinks. At the. End I tried to make the most of a bad situation. I would still return for the private karaoke room cause I understand the situation but my sister is important to me so this was a very important occasion.

Bryce is THE BEST server. The Tiger King roll and the Crispy Tuna app are my favs!

Bottomless mimosas on Sundays were delicious and karaoke was super fun! Great atmosphere and Justin, our server, was EXCELLENT. He made our whole experience here much more fun! Try the wagyu bao buns and Sunshine roll!

It was soooo fun and the food was immaculate as I expected, i got the Kyoto & Lavender drink and omggg!! Anyways if you’re having doubts, don’t. GO GO GO 🤌😊

The staff were very rude, they were busy and I understand that - but this was for a birthday and they were not pleasant. They were 30 minutes late into our reservation that we had booked for 14 people and we had to stand and wait to get in the karaoke room. Then they acted like we were the ones in the way when we were waiting on them and paid for that experience. They didn’t tell us we could only have max of 3 checks as well. The server was late coming into the karaoke room and we sat there for a half hour before we got drinks, and we had to go get a server to come in there and take our order and again just not the friendliest of staff.

Absolutely amazing! The ambience of the restaurant is great. Me and my friends went there specifically for karaoke. The host was amazing and kept the drinks flowing and the karaoke room is definitely abide. Definitely will return because we had absolutely no complaints. The staff is great!

We are big fans of Good Fortune for food. This review is specifically re: our karaoke experience. We reserved the room for one hour. More than half our time was gone before most of our party had drinks. Which is a key ingredient for a successful experience. When we brought it to our server's attention, their response was "i'm only one person". I get restaurants are short staffed, and that' unfortunate, but that doesn't change the outcome of our experience. They did offer us BOGO drink tickets for future experiences, but I am not in a rush to go back. Additionally, it isn't "karaoke". They use Apple Music so that original vocals are still on the tracks. It's more of a sign-along than karaoke. Also, some of the microphones provided did not work.
