Located along the historic Housatonic River in New Milford, Connecticut next to Boardman's bridge, Good Eats Restaurant & Bar features modern American cuisine and traditional favorites for today’s discerning tastes. Fantastic food, service is great, and owner was gracious in comping a drink as we were celebrating our anniversary. Will definitely be a date night destination for us moving forward.

Great food and drinks and had a nice table in corner. Mussel appetizer was fresh and flavorful and wonderful to share.

Overall we had a great experience, it is evident that the chef and staff put in the effort to make sure you have an excellent meal. Simple things like chilled glasses, and soup poured hot at the table are appreciated and the restaurant deserves the name Good Eats.

We have to give a shoutout to our server. He is young and when you have a young server they are more interested in rushing you out of the restaurant and honestly not caring. He was attentive, smiling, nice, honest, caring and we cannot say enough about him. He is a huge asset to your restaurant.

Good Eats never disappoints - attentive service but yet relaxed, fabulous cocktails. My new favorite entree - the scallops! Perfect sear and the bacon studded polenta to die for!

What a great find this was for me (thanks Open Table) as I passed through New Milford. Great location, right off of Rt. 7, just down from my Inn, and not too far from town. This could not have been a better experience. Comfortable setting and style. Super friendly and efficient staff. Great food (the pork dish is one of the best I've had). Good attention to detail. Reasonable prices and terrific value. This is a well run restaurant. Kudos to owners, managers and kitchen, wait crew for delivering a wonderful meal and experience. Thank you.

We love this restaurant. The menu is simple but so well executed. The flavors are so delicious and unexpected. The cocktails are very creative and the non alcoholic options are so good! Halumi salad is my new favorite and the pasta dish has an explosion of flavors. The roasted chicken is perfection. The servers are so attentive.

This was my second visit to Good Eats and I remain impressed with the menu and drinks! Our food was outstanding and we were well cared for by who I believe to be the owner and staff. Great experience overall!
