GŎNG, the highest hotel bar in Western Europe is perfect for sunset cocktails and late-night drinks. The bar offers 3 lofted areas for guests to relax and soak in the cityscape including unrivaled views of Tower Bridge.
Uncomplicated and seamless, the bar’s first-class service ensures the ultimate escape from the city’s bustle. Sample one of the delicate, signature cocktails or indulge in a rare, vintage champagne with signature sushi and Asian dishes. Guests are required to be 18 years of age or older after 5:30pm.

Window seats are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Please note that there is a £30 minimum spend per person applicable to all guests over the age of 18. All bar reservations will be seated either in Champagne Bar, Cocktail Bar or Sky Pool.
Please note that the Kitchen closes at 22:30 Sunday to Thursday, and 23:30 Friday and Saturday. We currently do not accept OpenTable dining cheques.

We had a wonderful lunchtime experience at the Gong yesterday. Our waiter, Jon from Basque Country was delightful and chatty. We had a 1 year old with us and they seated us at a lovely window side table overlooking the oncoming clouds which was splendid and we weren’t bothering anyone. The food was good, well priced and came out in a well timed fashion. The signature cocktails were lovely and came with a side of theatrics when Jon spritzed edible perfume onto my goblet. Would highly recommend - not the cheapest seat in town and you wouldn’t expect it to be, but the sharing menu at £42 a head is a really reasonable deal and the views are simply spectacular. Highly recommend.

View is fantastic. Service was very poor, the woman serving us was very angry and would slam drinks down on our table. Drinks are expensive, but the cocktails were very weak. I tried to order 2 drinks as the time taking to receive them was very long. But the waiter said you cannot. This is the only place in london that I asked them to remove the service charge.

Great views (d'uh), perceptive and engaging service and crew (give a cash tip), memorable and unique cocktails (we had the Mystic Moon - spirit-ual - and the Rhubarb Whatchamacallit - fruity, in a bowl, with a giant, carved icecube). The veggie starter platter is great (fresh-made sushi - you see the chef working at one end, crisp tempura, samosas...). So, yes, tip staff personally with a bill, like a tenner or a twenty. Some service angel told me they won't get their fair share when you just tip on the price with your credit card.

You pay for the view, which is awesome (not as good as Sky Garden) The food options are not great and the online menu needs to be re-tooled. Found myself pushing the back button TOO MANY TIMES for something that should be streamlined. The view is spectacular. The value is just not great.

Food was amazing well priced got a lot of food portions were good size. Drinks where mega bucks its understandable its London after all. Had a great window seat with stunning views. Best way to celebrate my 30th Birthday. Will definitely come again Cheers

We enjoyed our time at the Gong only because our waiter John was so entertaining and made the night more enjoyable. Pros- Beautiful views of London on 52nd floor, intimate quaint setting if you get window seating. Service was good but waiter was covering many tables. Cons- Do not do $250 Window Seating unless you are comfortable with Rose Champagne and their choice of food. Not too flexible on accommodating food or drink option. People around us walked in and were set at a window table with no reservations and ordered their choice of food and beverages. Manager came up to our table at 10:25 pm telling us kitchen was closing and we had not been served dessert. This was a little disappointing considering the cost. Portions were small and we duplicated half of the order because we did not feel it was dinner portions. Our bill was over $400 USD for a mediocre meal. Best advice- walk in and have a drink.. take in the views and save your money on the food.
