   Very hip, cool modern Asian that awesome in many ways. For two people, two smaller plates were more than enough. Salt and pepper eggplant and papaya salad (we ordered vegetarian option) were absolutely delicious. And the fabulous alcohol infused lychee tea drink (served in a teapot) was good value and refreshing on a hot night.

   Table was sticky, salt and pepper eggplant was fat saturated and lacking seasoning, the green papaya salad had corn!!! In it, flaccid pale prawns and sweetened sugary sauce the a lime had been nowhere near, lack of peanuts too. Poor quality food.and overpriced. Won’t bother booking here again.

   Been coming to gondola for birthdays every year with my family and we always have the best time, our last visit was made even more special by the staff allowing us to be a bit fussy with our dining experience- very pleased. My only feedback is that the restaurant was a bit too warm

   Booked a table for 2 to celebrate an anniversary as I had heard good things about this place. Though it was noisy due to a couple of larger groups, the ambience was still fine and there were plenty of staff on duty for the small number of guests seated at prime time a week from xmas. We ordered salt and pepper eggplant to begin, which was very good. Then we received our side of eggy rice and watched it go cold for @20-30mins while we waited for our main. Meanwhile we watched a party of 4 next to us, arrive, order and receive several dishes. Because we dared to announce that our side was cold and wanted a warm one by the time the main arrived, the waitress said thats not the way they work and immediately took the side away, leaving us with no choice but to get up and leave, after paying for what we had consumed. The attitude of some staff here is pretty horrible and they should rethink their business model if they want customer satisfaction.

    A lttlle overpriced. We have eaten at Gondola Gondola before and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. This time was a little disappointing. We ordered the Chargrilled Wagyu Rump and the Grilled Squid Salad. They were both nice, but would have enjoyed them much more if the Rump and Squid was at least warm? I understand it was a salad, but everything was cold. Service was only ok - rather than both meals coming out together, they came two minutes apart. Probably will not be back in a hurry!
