GOMA is a new Japanese fusion located at the corner of E. 4th and Prospect in downtown Cleveland. As Dante Boccuzzi’s newest restaurant, the menu draws upon Chef Boccuzzi’s worldwide award-winning culinary career, which includes serving as the executive chef at Nobu in Milan, where he worked directly with Nobu Matsuhisa and Giorgio Armani at the flagship establishment. **Validation for parking through East 4th Street Valet is available upon request.

My wife, son, and I had a great pre-concert dinner at Goma. The food was excellent, and we had superb service from Kevin. They also played music from the band we were going to see at RMFH when we were there. We will definitely be going back, possibly to try their tasting menu.

I live in Tremont and for the price point, I should have just walked up to Ginko for the best sushi and better experience. I recognize they’re catering to pre-event crowds but was so underwhelmed by the food and still walked out with a $250+ bill (including drinks). They even added 18% gratuity to my bill for a 2 top without mentioning. You’re better off going to Ginko or Ninja Sushi in Mentor for the real deal. Dante is playing to the lowest common denominator with Goma.

Goma is always an exceptional dining experience and my absolute go-to whenever I'm in Cleveland. Chef Lee's talent shines through in every dish—his sushi creations are nothing short of extraordinary, each one a perfect balance of flavors that truly delights the palate. The entire staff is consistently warm and attentive, making every visit even more enjoyable.

Our server was attentive but the sushi did take a long time to come out. The two rice dishes we got (like a fried rice) were SO salty. Wish we wouldn’t have ordered them.

Had high hopes for this one. For the amount you pay the sushi was mediocre and the service was absolutely terrible.

We arrived and our hostess was lovely, we were sat at the sushi bar and then asked to move to another seat since I was right in front of a pole. The waiter had already filled our waters and when we moved we did not take them, so when he came to the new seats he made a point to tell us he was "re-filling" our water. We ordered the YELLOWTAIL OTSUKURI and the BLISTERED SHISHITO PEPPERS . The Yellowtail was cut so poorly, and there was no sauce on the appetizer. As we were sitting at the bar and witnessing the dishes being made we decided to leave. The rolls were cut unevenly and thrown on the plate to where the ingredients were flung at us. Just not the care we have seen when handling expensive cuts of fish so we decided maybe they were not the best grade and left. We have never left in the middle of a meal before so if that is any indicator to work on the presentation, and with the gratuity already included in the bill, maybe the staff needs to do better or have to actually work for the tip.

Slow, uninformed service. Large tempura portion and tiny roll portions. Average experience at best.
