Goldies’ menu focuses on the use of a wood-fired grill, with a selection of small and large plates connected by rich, smoky flavours. Highlights include a Merguez Scotch Egg with harissa mayonnaise, Marinated Baby Chicken with smoked yoghurt, and Grilled Wild Mushrooms, Baby Leek, and a confit egg yolk. In a nod to the founders’ French roots, variations of the iconic Frites are the signature of the restaurant, which are hand-cut and twice-cooked, in either beef dripping or vegetable oil.

The design of the space is centred on the expertise of wood-fired cooking, with kitchen counter seating to create a dramatic dining experience for guests. The interiors are cosy, with contemporary decoration, terracotta warm tones and a groovy musical atmosphere. Goldies features a noteworthy terrace that fits 30 guests.

The flavours of the food is ridiculous! So good, especially lamb and chicken skewers. The chips and dips are so good also. Staff so helpful and attentive, can’t wait to return.

We had a lovely experience at Goldies. The good was gorgeous, good size portions for a reasonable price. It was quite busy so there was a lively buzz. Love the glitter ball in the loo!

Due to a misunderstanding on dates, I turned up and my friend had the next evening in her diary. I ordered a drink and stayed for a couple of snacks which were both utterly delicious and excellent value. I enjoyed the beef shin croquettes with a funky, earthy pickled walnut mayonnaise and corn ribs dripping in parsley butter. I was made to feel very welcome dining on my own. I would definitely return.

First time there but everything just hit the spot! Food is really delicious and staffs/chefs are so nice and smiling! Would go back again!
