Goldies’ menu focuses on the use of a wood-fired grill, with a selection of small and large plates connected by rich, smoky flavours. Highlights include a Merguez Scotch Egg with harissa mayonnaise, Marinated Baby Chicken with smoked yoghurt, and Grilled Wild Mushrooms, Baby Leek, and a confit egg yolk. In a nod to the founders’ French roots, variations of the iconic Frites are the signature of the restaurant, which are hand-cut and twice-cooked, in either beef dripping or vegetable oil.

The design of the space is centred on the expertise of wood-fired cooking, with kitchen counter seating to create a dramatic dining experience for guests. The interiors are cosy, with contemporary decoration, terracotta warm tones and a groovy musical atmosphere. Goldies features a noteworthy terrace that fits 30 guests.

Felt a bit to crammed in and even though we were not sat at the bar - clothes and hair stank of cooking / smoke afterwards. The food was good but far too salty!! Quite expensive for such a limited menu and overall average but disappointing, not one I would highly recommend.

The restaurant and staff were lovely, service was quick and attentive… but… the overwhelming taste of every dish was the char from the grill, the burger was oddly sweet, and the lamb chimichurri was dry and earthy. I don’t think we would return.

Really great food and excellent service. Unfortunately we had the table next to the one and only toilet! The restaurant got very smoky at times - eye-stingingly smoky. Feels a little like they’ve shoe-horned themselves into a space that isn’t really big enough. That said, will definitely be back for the best challah and chicken ever!

Lived up to expectations for sure. Great service. Fast and friendly. The food though 😋!!! OMG wanted to lick all the plates (as well as my fingers😆)

Great value for money. We tried all the starters and many of the mains, not a bad item on the menu.

Snacks are great, chips and dips awesome, but the mains lack. The burger bread does not work, detracts from the burger. The baby chicken had no seasoning / taste. Smoked yogurt? Barely any and no smoke to it. Service is good.
