Located between the Delaware River and Canal in Bucks County, the Golden Pheasant Inn offers fine dining and luxurious accommodations in a truly picturesque setting. We are only one hour and thirty minutes from New York City or Philadelphia, and only 25 minutes north of New Hope, PA.
The Inn had previously been family-owned and operated for over 30 years by the Faure family. Jack Thompson, of the Thompson Organization and the Black Bass Hotel, purchased the Golden Pheasant in July of 2019 and plans to reopen in the new year. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Golden Pheasant Inn!

What a gem of a place! I cannot say enough good things - beautiful location and ambience along the river and canal - welcoming staff - delicious food and drinks! We live about 45 mins away, but will definitely be coming back!!

It was my wife's birthday and we decided to have a nice quiet dinner here. We had the Pheasant Pate as an appetizer that had tremendous flavor in addition to the currants, toast and baby durkins which we really enjoyed! My wife ordered the scallops which were cooked to perfection and just melted in your mouth. I had the Veal Chop which should always be on the menu as it was one of the best I have ever tasted and I travel for business all over the country and have eaten some of the top restaurants in the US. For me, one of the best things about this place is how quiet and relaxing it is. I hate going to places where people are talking and laughing loudly like they are at a baseball game and this is absolutely the opposite! We will definitely be returning.

Great setting for an anniversary dinner. Nice table and quiet inside. Food was very good with a very nice selection of options. Great Gluten Free options Our server was attentive but not intrusive or pushy.

An absolutely beautiful Sunday in September for brunch at The Golden Pheasant. Sun drenched dining room overlooking the terrace. Excellent bloody Mary's, beet salad, & duck hash & poached eggs. We will be back☕️

Fantastic dinner for friends’ anniversary, and stylish, comfortable, clean accommodations. Execellent complimentary breakfast: yogurt w/berries, freshly made in-house croissant, delicious spinach and feta frittata. The impeccable dinner and breakfast service provided by Maria couldn’t be beat.

This restaurant is one of my top favorites! The food and service is consistent and wonderful. Great menu choices from casual to full entrees. This most recent visit included seven very pleased brunch patrons!

Food and service were outstanding. Golden Pheasant is in beautiful location with great charm. Suggest reservation for either main dining room or outdoors. The Garden Room can be very noisy, conversation very difficult, on a busy night.
