Located between the Delaware River and Canal in Bucks County, the Golden Pheasant Inn offers fine dining and luxurious accommodations in a truly picturesque setting. We are only one hour and thirty minutes from New York City or Philadelphia, and only 25 minutes north of New Hope, PA.
The Inn had previously been family-owned and operated for over 30 years by the Faure family. Jack Thompson, of the Thompson Organization and the Black Bass Hotel, purchased the Golden Pheasant in July of 2019 and plans to reopen in the new year. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Golden Pheasant Inn!

Wonderful night at our favorite restaurant. Maia was amazing as our server. We love this place and can’t say enough nice things about it. It Is our favorite restaurant for good reason.

Food was okay. Way overpriced for what you get. Less than 1/2 inch of wine in glass cost me $15. Would not go back.

The Golden Pheasant Inn is unique. It's atmosphere is warm and inviting. It's always a step above other restaurants from the moment you are greeted at the door. It overlooks the River. There is no rush. From beginning to end of the meal you feel honored and welcomed. The food is excellent and presented well. We went with another couple and sat in the patio/dining area. It was beautiful. We had a view of the river, and they have a lovely fireplace which at this time, being summer, they had lit candles. We went on a Friday evening, and it was not full at all. We had a lovely server who let us lounge with our drinks for as long as we pleased before ordering appetizers and dinner. Wine selection is not huge, but they have very nice offerings. The food was absolutely delicious and with generous portions. My husband and I had the Flounder stuffed crab with rice pilaf. They accommodated my request to replace the pilaf with their forbidden black rice which was part of their scallop's dish. We each took half our dinner home. Our friends had the scallops and pheasant. The devoured their dinner. We started with the cheese board, charcuterie board and the Escargot Tart. All were generous portions and delicious. Highly recommend going for an elegant yet slightly casual evening out with friends or romantic dinner.

Our waitress, Marie, made this a truly memorable experience for my mother's birthday. Nothing but accolades to the Golden Pheasant team. You will not be disappointed!

This is our favorite restaurant; however, on this visit I was disappointed with my entree. The texture of the salmon was not firm, as I expected but mushy. The waitress was lovely and helpful, but we waited a long time for our salads. Maybe it was an off night.
