Located between the Delaware River and Canal in Bucks County, the Golden Pheasant Inn offers fine dining and luxurious accommodations in a truly picturesque setting. We are only one hour and thirty minutes from New York City or Philadelphia, and only 25 minutes north of New Hope, PA.
The Inn had previously been family-owned and operated for over 30 years by the Faure family. Jack Thompson, of the Thompson Organization and the Black Bass Hotel, purchased the Golden Pheasant in July of 2019 and plans to reopen in the new year. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Golden Pheasant Inn!

First time there and certainly not the last one. The pate as a starter is worth the travel. The texture, the taste, the pickles are all adding up to make it one of the best around the Delaware. The bread is crusty like in France. Great piece of lamb and very well cocked as a main. Service at the table done with care and smile. Thank you for this great moment

Fantastic Restaurant and Inn. Great for a romantic getaway. The morning breakfast was just as good as the previous evening's meal. Love this place.

Great food and atmosphere. Maria our waitress made our evening even more special. She was so nice and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. We’ll be back!

The brunch menu has not changed in years. Could really use some seasonal changes. Great space, indoors and out. Wonderful staff!

The menu was the best we have experienced at the Inn, and we tried 4 different appetizers, entrees and desserts. It was a most enjoyable evening and Melanie was an outstanding server. We've enjoyed the Inn for years but this last experience was exceptional and we highly recommend if you are looking for fine dining.

What a gem of a place! I cannot say enough good things - beautiful location and ambience along the river and canal - welcoming staff - delicious food and drinks! We live about 45 mins away, but will definitely be coming back!!

It was my wife's birthday and we decided to have a nice quiet dinner here. We had the Pheasant Pate as an appetizer that had tremendous flavor in addition to the currants, toast and baby durkins which we really enjoyed! My wife ordered the scallops which were cooked to perfection and just melted in your mouth. I had the Veal Chop which should always be on the menu as it was one of the best I have ever tasted and I travel for business all over the country and have eaten some of the top restaurants in the US. For me, one of the best things about this place is how quiet and relaxing it is. I hate going to places where people are talking and laughing loudly like they are at a baseball game and this is absolutely the opposite! We will definitely be returning.

Great setting for an anniversary dinner. Nice table and quiet inside. Food was very good with a very nice selection of options. Great Gluten Free options Our server was attentive but not intrusive or pushy.
