I had a reservation for 6 initially, they had us set for a booth. A booth for 6 adults, unbelievable. I will say when I had to change my count to 8 they did accommodate my party and we were put a a very large table, The spinach and green beans were very plain without seasoning or taste. The crab cakes were ok but not great. The mushroom soup was incredible. I did not like that we could not split our check the way we wanted, that was a big turn off.

Requested a quiet area and was seated in the middle of the restaurant. There was a private party in the back room . My reservation was at 5:30. The party was over at 6 . I would have changed my time to 6:00. But the hostess did not offer this . The noise level will probably make me not go back.

I moved out of state but make an effort to eat here every time I come home. The chicken pot pie is the single greatest comfort food - and meal in general - I’ve ever had.

As always, we had an excellent experience. Our meals were beautifully prepared and delicious. Tyler, our server was outstanding! Our every need was anticipated. The environment is quiet and perfect for conversation. Just a wonderful lunch.

Our reservation to dine was preceded by an awesome Whistle Pig tasting! Quite an enjoyable dining experience for my birthday week. The snacks during the tasting were on point and signature special for dining was delicious. We even received the real background on the name change! Keep up this awesome service.

We were immediately seated(restaurant wasn’t crowded) and a waiter came by and took our drink order. When the drinks were served the person asked us if there was anything we needed. We knew what we wanted so we placed our order. Food came out timely and was very good. When we finished someone came by and cleared the dishes. My wife had a little wine left and we conversed for a while. After watching everyone around us order and finish desserts and pay their checks a 1/2 hour had passed and no one had asked us if we wanted dessert or wanted our check. I finally went to the hostess and told her we were had been finished for over 1/2 hour and our waiter had apparently disappeared. She and another waitress were extremely apologetic and offered us dessert which we took home. We have never had an experience like this a Glenwoods before and we eat there a couple times a month. It was just a poor service experience.

We are frequent patrons of Glenwoods and unfortunately, this visit makes 2 in a row that the food wasn't good. Last time 3 people at our table ordered filet mignons medium rare and they came out rare so this time we told the waiter what happened and he said he would take care of us....we ordered 3 filets again and 1 prime rib all medium rare. Prime rib was perfect, one steak came out medium rare and the other two were rare again so we sent them back. One came back perfect and the other came back well done which was quite obvious just looking at it...it should have never been returned to the table this way The manager did come by and comp one of the steaks but my husband went home hungry bc he didn't eat it....tried dousing it in the horse radish from my prime rib but still was too cooked loosing it's flavor. Very disappointed that this happened 2 visits in a row...not sure if there is a new cook in the kitchen but if they don't figure this put we will stop coming which is a shame bc as I said we go here a lot. at this time I can't recommend the restaurant until this issue gets figured out but on a positive note the service in general was good.

Wonderful concept. Consistent and well run Staff is wonderful, from the time you are greeted at the front desk to paying the bill. Everyone helps out when asked. Music is a nice touch.
