Valentine's Day Dinner - we did not attend the event; we just had dinner. The food was delicious. We had the short ribs appetizer, duck ragout, and pork shank. The pasta for the duck was perfectly al dente. Everything had a nice presentation. We were full without being stuffed. The drinks were good (the old-fashioned was a little watered down) and, while we did not get a smoky drink, it was fun to watch other guests have them served up. The noise level was just right for date night. This was our first visit so I do not know if that was because it was all couples or if that is their normal sound level. We will definitely go back.

Put a sweater on if you go in the winter, but it’s a beautiful building, much better than typical food and drinks, and very, very good service. We would have liked a regular height table option but high tops were upscale.

An amazing historic find in nearby Franklin, MA! Beautifully restored 1800’s textile mill turned into refined distillery of high quality artisan spirits and fabulous tavern. Big kudos to the owners meticulously retaining original structure with modern touches. Eager to return in summertime for outdoor ambiance in their covered bridge and patio.

I was disappointed at the menu. When making the reservation I saw the full dinner menu. I expected at least some of the main menu at lunch on Valentine’s Day so it was disappointing to see a very limited number of selections. The salad and pizza we had were not up to my expectations based on prior dining experiences.

GlenPharmer Distillery is a nicely restored old mill building, and for a structure that is pretty much wood and stone, not overly loud. The feel is trendy upscale pub. The menu is creative with a wide selection of entrees and appetizers that will appeal to all tastes and dietary needs. We both had fish and while the prices on are the higher side, the actual fish portions were very generous. They could probably cut back a little and nobody would complain. The Salmon was very good, although the Tuna was rare to the point of being a little sinewy. The vegetables and starches were all tasty and well prepared. Dessert was bit of a letdown, and the custard filled min-donuts (they have a fancier name for them) were frozen in the center. On the second try they were too hot and needed time to cool down. A imperfect ending to a pretty good dinner. Because it's a distillery they only serve what they make, so you can't get certain things (like Vermouth). Getting their version of a Manhattan was close to $18. Better off sticking to their drink menu. It won't be any cheaper but the two Manhattans we had varied quite a bit. GlenPharmer is a neat place, but on the pricier side. Then again a couple can spend $100 at Outback for a so-so dinner and a Bloomin' Onion. It's always busy, which says something. Great for a date night, but a little costly to become a regular hang.

Drinks were amazing, and the spirits were delicious. Place is cool with a good vibe. However, the food looks a lot better than it tastes, and our server not good at all. My wish is that they did away with the restaurant and focused on a real tasting room with small bites, etc. Just meh

This was our first time here and I can not say enough good things. The cocktails and food were delicious, and the service was just right- felt taken care of while also giving us space and time to catch up. Also the flight had generous pours and were amazingly drinkable straight. I can not recommend this place more. Looking forward to returning.
