Gleesons of Booterstown is a bright, spacious and beautifully designed dining space and bar in the heart of Booterstown. It is a local gathering place for family, friends and neighbours to catch up over good food and drinks. Enjoy an exceptional five star dining experience consisting of only the finest locally sourced Irish produce for each of our dishes. With a menu filled with choice, our dishes are prepared to suit every palette. Favorites include Chicken Piri Piri, Pan Fried Plaice, Beef and Guinness Pie, Prime Irish Fillet Steak with Daily Specials too. We’re open seven days a week serving breakfast from 8am, lunch from 12 Noon and dinner from 5pm with friendly service and a smile.

Myself and Friend Really enjoyed Gleesons . Lovely Staff , Very Friendly and Helpful and always on Hand if you need anything. The Food is always nice and the Service is excellent. Will be back again soon. Many thanks

We returned after many years and were not disappointed . Service was very good . Expensive for a pub restaurant environment particularly the wine . But we will however return .

Lunch prior to son’s graduation. Food and service excellent . We lingered over our meal and did not feel rushed . Crab tostado , plaice and lamb carvery all excellent

I was marking a special occasion that fell on a Monday night. Two of group were based in Dublin - the other two were from outside Dublin. So Gleesons was chosen due to its location. One of the group had eaten there and recommended it from that experience. Parking was good. Ambience was fine. Very pleasant server. I chose the chicken curry- watery and tasteless. Another friend had two starters due to limited menu. The turbot was fine. My dessert was only average. A very disappointing meal. Not an experience any of us wish to repeat.

We dined as a group of 4 & were seated in a large table in the window. We did not specifically request to be seated there. Before our main course was over, a very rude waitress told us there was another group due to arrive in that area & we would have to move over. She pulled chairs away, practically threw our coats at us & set a table beside us. 15 minutes later, there was still no one seated beside us. It seemed unnecessary to treat us so disrespectfully.

We had a group of six with four adults and two teenagers for Sunday lunch so a range of food / drink. We were 30 minutes because someone cannot use Sat Nav, Adrian, but they accommodated us with no fuss. The drivers had a choice of non-alcoholic drinks and the ladies had tasty white wine. The adults had a mix of lamb, tempura prawns and fish which were all well cooked and presented while the teenagers had chicken / beef burgers & fries. Desert was a mix of lemon tarte and some fun "99" ice creams. Overall, it was a very pleasant occasion with no issues at all and I would heartily recommend it for similar occasions.

No wonder Gleeson’s is always busy. Such a fantastic neighbourhood gem. The food and value for money are second to none. There must be such a good chef there. I had the delicious halibut and my friends had the pil pil prawns and tempura prawns. All so warmly and efficiently served by Zoe. Cannot fault this place ever. No wonder I keep coming back!
