    This is a wonderful place to celebrate special events. The staff were outstanding and the view of the Queen Victoria building next to us was amazing. We found every course to be exceptional. We had Sydney Rock oysters and Iberian ham as starters followed by grilled fresh lobster with a lettuce and white and anchovy salad and truffled Mashed potato. finished with bombe Alaska. could not recommend this restaurant highly enough.

    Overall, the service and food was amazing, the grilled squid was not very nice and we didn't eat it, when the waiter came to collect the plate we mentioned that it wasn't cooked very well but were not expecting or asking for the serving to be deducted from the bill, but it was and we were gratefull. We ordered prawns, sqid and a rib eye steak to share beween us along with bread and 3 sides. It was all delicious, we were busy talking and eating and did not realise that the steak we got was a T-bone and not the rib eye which was way too big and half of it wasn't eaten. We did not realise until we got the bill and were charged $200+ for the steak when we had ordered a rib eye which was half the price and a third f the size. we did not mention it as we received the sqid for free (even though we didn't eat most of it). I guess my point is that the waiter didn't put down the correct order even though he repeated it to us correctly. Overall a great meal

    Was a really great experience. The staff made the experience!! Very accommodating to allergy needs and very friendly. The food was perfect and very tasty. Was a gift voucher and would definitely go there again now that we've experienced it!! Can't say enough about the staff there, very very good!!

    The restaurant is quite nice with a beautiful street view, prices are quite high but they have the banquet option wich gives you option to try different meals on the menu from starters to desserts. The banquet comes as share plate for minimum 2 people no body explained this even though we had plenty food, the service too a while to come and take order for both drinks and food it wasn't too busy but our waiter was focused with a larger table, after that table left we had more attention from the waiter. We were celebrating a birthday and they gave us a complementary brownie with the happy bday sign, we appreciate that.

    Not happy will not return even though previous experience with the chef’s other venues have been 5⭐️. Entree prawns/oyster combo dish offered disappointing and questionable non fresh mushy king prawns. Lobster should have pre cut flesh or accompanied by better cutting knife to assist the eating experience. Dessert “Vanilla Cheesecake” presented as chocolate cake squares without explanation??? Maître D did not show up at our table yet seemed to be circulating the room?

    Nice venue with attentive staff. Good drink & menu selection. Entrees: summer tart(disappointing)steak tartare(outstanding but served with soggy chips???) grilled zucchini (splendid)grilled octopus(v good). Mains were very good: steak, fish. So were the deserts. We had a nice dinner and the minor misses should be regarded as constructive criticism. I recommend the restaurant for a nice dinner and I would not hesitate to go again.
