Great restaurant. Staff could be a little more attentive with drinks and the entree plates were still on the table when mains came. Timing and attention to detail just needs a bit of tweaking. Having said that, we had a great time !

We had the 6 course Degustation and opted to have the pairing wines. The whole experience was amazing! The food was delicious and the wines elevated the meals perfectly. Timing between meals was amazing it took us approximately 3 hours to complete. As we were they for my partners birthday it was a nice surprise to have an additional little dessert provided wishing him a happy birthday, very nice touch.

Negatives: Very little tea options which not great for a high tea. We made a birthday booking with 3/4 attendees having a nut allergy and sadly was not accommodated for although mentioned when booking well in advance. No pastries were given instead a fruit platter to be shared with 3 people which also were not good very dry pineapple and berries were not sweet. Plus the ice cream arrived melted. Noted in the booking one attendee had a shellfish allergy but the entire table was not served any of the seafood and had to request the waiter who was very apologetic served the salmon and lobster but was also disapppointed once arrived. It would have been nice to be contacted beforehand to say allergies are not actually catered to as no such accomodations were made and I have been to many other high teas where separate pastries were made or contacted me beforehand to let me know they were unable to do so, this experience was by far the worst high tea experience. On top of this, after reporting feedback we only recieved drink vouchers as an apology and was still expected to pay the 4-people full afternoon tea price. $318 for small savoury bites and fruit we definitely did not get what we paid for . No scones were served? What was the point?

The food was amazing, the staff are fantastic & they went to even extra lengths to make it even more special for my parents 50th anniversary. A special thanks to everyone from us.

My family enjoyed the nice and classy atmosphere of the restaurant and the good service. They enjoyed the good quality foods ie the meat, poultry, fish and the side dishes.

Service is just excellence. Chairs desperately need to be replaced. Broken & ribbed bamboo backing aren’t a good look.

One of the best experiences we have ever had, the crab omelette, the souffle and the pork cutlet were outstanding.. the staff extremely friendly and attentive.
