Gjelina is a restaurant that serves locally-sourced, produce-forward food with menus guided by conversations and long-standing relationships with farmers, local ranchers, fishermen, and co-ops. Our first location Gjelina LA in Venice Beach opened in 2008 becoming a staple in the local community. In 2023, we opened a Gjelina location in New York at 45 Bond Street. A month into being open, we had a fire and had to close our doors. As we complete construction and prepare for our reopening in fall 2024, Gjelina NY has had a series of pop-ups this summer, beginning with WSA in June and July, and NO BAR at The Standard, East Village, for the month of August. Our third location, Gjelina Las Vegas is scheduled to open at the end of 2024.

Gjelina in Venice has always been one of my favorite restaurants in the world. It's such a treat having them in NYC as a pop-up...and can't wait for the official restaurant to re-open. Last night's dinner was perfect on every level--fantastic food, warm, friendly and fun service...and a perfect martini. Can't wait to go back.

The food was good but nothing special. Wine and cocktails were very overpriced. the server was awkward at best— which I’ll chalk up to this being a pop up.

Hello, I’ve dined at Gjeliina NY 4 times. The first time was when you first opened on Bond St. the week before the unfortunate fire. The past 3 times were at The Standard East Village. My first 3 dining experiences were great - food, service & ambience. My 4th visit last night was not to the same standards as my previous visits.

Gjelina brought back all the memories from a beautiful experience at their LA location that I had years ago. A delicious and healthy dinner. Loved the outdoor seating at the Standard EV!

Not as good as the LA OG, but the dishes were still solid. We got a dish on the kitchen was nice. One of our salads was very bland and flavorless though. Administratively, things were a little shaky. But that is to be expected usually at a pop up.

We love Gjelina in L.A. Had a fine meal at Gjelina NYC pop up last night. All great but portions are not large enough for the price and they did not offer their awesome 🍕. We look forward to dining at Gjelina NYC on Bond Street when they officially open after trying to and sadly not being able to due to a fire 🔥

Food was delightful as usual. They really know how to work with seasonal vegetables -- I wanted to get one of each dish. Great staff. Looking forward to having you guys back in your spot come fall!

I try to eat exclusively at Gjelina’s on Abbot Kinney @ Venice Beach because its excellence is beyond reach of any other restaurant in that town. I have been eating there for years and years and have never had a meal that wasn’t exceptional… I was so excited when I saw Gjelina’s had opened a PopUp @ NoBar, Standard Hotel. Unfortunately, the food was so bad that I am actually taking time out of my busy schedule to write about this experience. My Greens Salad which I always have in Venice because it is the freshest bursting in you mouth palette cleaner at the end of the meal I have had the pleasure of partaking, ever. The one I had in Manhattan was ready for the compost pile and inedible. My duck dish tasted like it was old frown food that had been reheated in the microwave. I will not be returning.
