We had a wonderful meal and truly enjoyed our conversation with the owner, Rich. The food was outstanding- fresh, flavorful and perfectly cooked. Andrea, our sever, was warm and gave great recommendations for wine. It is some of the best food we have eaten in Phoenix - we only are chagrined to discover it after living here for several years!

Don’t bother making reservations—they won’t be honored. You’ll only be seated if you’re a “regular.” We were told they accepted 160 reservations for their 12 available tables. Take your business elsewhere instead of wasting your time as we did.

A great local find. Has that neighborhood feel. Is osso bucco was first rate. Service efficient and friendly. If you want good, stick to the ribs Italian food, and you want to support local/independent restaurants, this is one of those places.

We love this restaurant! Food and service is great (I’ve been twice only because we live so far away in Peoria). Giuseppe has a very interesting story and is now creating an amazing food experience. Never mind his restaurant is in a strip center, it won’t matter when you taste his food..

We were looking forward to dining at Giuseppe's on 28th when in Phoenix. It had been many years since being regulars at this restaurant and it did not disappoint going back to dinner there. Richard Bock and his staff are very attentive and hospitable and you can look forward to that treatment when you dine there. We were a party of 6 and all of us were sated after dinner. Anything you order will be tasty and memorable: appetizers are great, menu choices excellent and we all had favorites and dessert was yummy!! If we still lived in the area we would frequently choose to dine there. There are many good restaurants in Phoenix and Scottsdale, but if you're looking for down home good Italian food in at home atmosphere, this is THE PLACE! Mangia Bene!

We enjoyed another nice dinner at Giuseppe's on 28th. Greeted by the owner, Rich, and his friendly staff upon arrival. We ordered our favorites the bolognese ragu and shrimp scampi which always stand out. Highly recommend to get a reservation as tables are limited especially on Fridays and Saturdays. Overall, it was a great night out in a cozy Italisn restaurant.
