We were going there to celebrate our 58th wedding anniversary. Since they asked several times if we were celebrating anything they were informed of that fact. The food was good! The dinning experience started with the hostess stating that since we were 9 minutes late they would still seat us but we had to be out in 1 hour 20 minutes. Once seated we were informed that they would take our food order all at once but the kitchen would send out the food when each dish was ready. An odd way to run a meal service in my opinion. By the way we didn’t even get a “Happy Anniversary” from anyone on staff.

We were seated ten minutes early, even though they were swamped as usual. Each course was served as soon as we were ready, but we never felt rushed. The food was terrific, and each item we brought impressed us even more than the last. The service was the best of any restaurant I have ever dined at. All the great things we have heard about The Girl and the Goat are true.

Enjoyed every bite of the five courses I shared. The goat liver mousse and halibut were my favorite dishes. The service was great.

Had one of the most fulfilling anniversary dinners here tonight. The food and service was fantastic; especially considering the amount of patrons in the restaurant. My only ‘complaint’ is quite small. The ambiance is rather loud, so it can be hard to hear depending on how large your group is and where your party gets seated.
