Le Girl & the Goat a ouvert ses portes en 2010 avec l'objectif de servir un menu de style familial débordant de savoureux aliments aux arômes audacieux, dans un environnement amusant et animé. Pour une expérience encore plus exceptionnelle, ils proposent une sélection de vins du monde entier avec un accent mis sur les petits producteurs, une carte rotative de bières artisanales et une liste de cocktails amusants créés par les barmen de l'établissement. Situé au 809 W Randolph, le Girl & the Goat est l'un des premiers établissements du Randolph Restaurant Corridor. D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Lors de son ouverture en 2010, le Girl & the Goat a lancé le concept de la gastronomie décontractée dans le West Loop, sur l'emblématique Restaurant Row. The food and service were incredible! I would definitely recommend any of the goat and vegetable dishes. Our meal was a great way to conclude our visit to Chicago.

The food was not the best especially for the price. The servings were also very small for the price. The service was good though, pretty attentive servers educating me on how the food is better eaten.

Our server was Leah and she was absolutely next level extraordinary. The food was rich but over the top delish. We had late reservation after a show nearby and it couldn’t have been any more perfect.

It was a fun spot. The food was mostly interesting & delicious. We did have 2 items that were almost unbearably salty (the green beans, which we still ate & the halibut, which we couldn’t eat). The halibut was cooked perfectly but after the green beans being so salty, trying to eat another extremely salty dish just wasn’t possible. We did let the waitress know & they were super accommodating about it. I would definitely go back.

We had an amazing experience at the girl and the goat. We loved the tapas atmosphere and enjoyed trying so many amazing dishes. Our favorites were the naan bread, poke, and halibut. Definitely recommend this place. Be prepared for the noise and cozy dark atmosphere as it is busy with everyone enjoying it.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Chicago! From the service to the food, it’s always amazing. We got the goat empanadas, Naan bread, green beans, chicken and the star for me was the Halibut - highly recommend! Can’t wait to be back in the city

At first look, the menu was a little more adventurous than we were used to but after taking some recommendations from friends and the staff, we ordered a variety of dishes branching out of our comfort zone and it did not disappoint. It was one of the most delicious meals we have enjoyed as a group. Every dish was delicious, beautiful and no crumb was left behind. The drinks were also beautiful and delicious. The ambiance is so fun - dark, active and fun. We had a group of 6 ladies and it was a perfect environment for a night out celebrating birthdays. Some of our favorite menu items included: chickpea fritters, sautéed green beans, beef short rib noodles, and oddly enough the goat empanadas. It was a night to remember and the food, environment and overall experience lived up to the hype/reputation we had been hearing about for months. Make the reservation - you will NOT regret it@
