Everything from booking online (with subsequent text message updates) through to the goodbye smile was outstanding. I can't recommend this place enough. Party was two adults and 7 year old child. More than enough options on the menu for all tastes and preferences (vegetarian included). Service was always extremely polite, friendly and informal and we were all made to feel "at home". Will definitely visit again when in the area.

We had a family dinner at Giovanni’s where we were all pleasantly surprised how authentic the food was easily on par with my local family owned Italian restaurant. Highlights the pizza was cooked perfectly and base was crispy but importantly not burnt. spaghetti carbonara was spot on too not too oily but creamy. Our waiter Sophia was very attentive. We ordered garlic bread that didn't come - however it wasn't a problem as ẁe didn't need it.

The food wasn’t very tasty. Pizza needed more time in the fire and pasta tasted like it had been prepared yesterday. I’m sorry but this is not one that I would revisit.

Giovanni's restaurant is, quite simply, one of the finest Italian restaurants I've eaten in in quite some time! From the friendly and helpful service we received throughout our meal, to the exquisite food which was made to an incredibly high standard, the entire experience was FLAWLESS! Can't wait to go back!
