Giovanni’s is an absolute must for connoisseur’s of Italian food. Our staff have worked in the finest restaurants across Italy; so you’re truly guaranteed an unforgettable Italian dining experience, in both food & service.
Our restaurant is housed in the beautiful Grade II listed building formerly known as the Old Post Office, on King Street in Knutsford. Richard Harding Watt influenced the town’s architecture by delivering a little piece of Italy for everyone to appreciate, up and down King Street, notably in the design of the memorial tower overlooking Giovanni’s.

One of the finest Italian restaurants in the country. It’s always a most enjoyable experience and an authentic taste of Italy. Cannot fault it.

Unbelievable food, the quality of their produce is amazing and really generous portions. The prawns are huge! And great value for money. The staff can't do enough for you. Love it here

We had the set menu, which was good value for money. Sadly the evening was spoilt by poor customer service, our starters came an hour after we arrived, and only after reminding staff we were waiting. The wrong main course was bought out, but that was rectified quickly. The bill was incorrect, and it was a real effort to get the correct bill,(staff were frankly dismissive when I raised the issue) then no apology. It was a busy Friday night, so perhaps we were unlucky.

It was my daughter’s 10th Birthday and we Had Emily serving us! She made my daughter feel special on her big day, she made a fuss and made it such a joy for my daughter. The service was brilliant and we will definitely be telling friends and family about our wonderful meal we had! Massive thanks to Emily she went above and beyond!

Wherever we go, at home or abroad we will always look out for an Italian restaurant. The food is always brilliant and the attention of the staff first class and Giovanni's Knutsford was no exception. Would highly recommend and definitely return if we are in Knutsford again!
