Since 1976 Giovanni's continues to serve Cleveland outstanding Italian cuisine & a unique dining experience. Giovanni's has been awarded the Di Rona, AAA & Wine Spectator Award, Cleveland Magazine "Silver Spoon" Award (Best Italian Restaurant & Best Italian Restaurant in Northern Ohio) several times over the years. The wine cellar, classified as one of the country's finest with over 800 selections, earned Wine Spectator's Grand Award.
Giovanni's recent renovation brings the atmosphere more in tune to today's feelings. The Picasso Room with wood paneling, distinctive artwork, fireplace & elegant French doors, seating up to 30, is ideal for corporate & social functions.
The imaginative cuisine offers surprising variations of classic recipes including handmade pastas, seafood, veal, lamb, beef & game. Elegance & first class service are an experience not to be missed. We loved our server at Giovanni's. She was fun and we would give her three choices of dishes that we wanted and let her choose her favorites for the table. She brought us the stuffed peppers and they were a hit! We really enjoyed the scallops, halibut and the best of all was the short ribs. Absolutely delicious! We would definitely go back!

The experience at Giovanni‘s is always perfect from the minute you enter and Carl welcomes you with a warm handshake Pierre gives you a hug and Michael our server very tentatively brought us water and explained the menu and took our order. The service is always impeccable. Someone always there asking if you need anything and the food unbelievable Even though it’s a very special place. This should be a regular dining experience for most everyone.

Service was great , until we asked for a build your own salad. Which my wife is a vegetarian and there was meat all the way through the salad. We then brought it to the servers attention and he stated he would remove the salad from our bill. Then after paying we noticed the salad was still on the bill.

Wonderful anniversary dinner. Service was excellent and professional. My wife and I each had the lobster bisque which was delicious and a large portion. My only comment is that mine could have had more lobster pieces. My wife's had more lobster. We split a bib salad with goat cheese and a delicious dressing. For our entrees I had the veal scaloppini and my wife had the braised short ribs. Both were exceptional with such large portions that we took enough home for dinner the next night. We also had an excellent bottle of wine from their expansive wine list. Giovanni's is a special place for special occasions.

The eggplant parmigiana was mostly cheese. The veal scaloppini seemed to be old meat and tasted funny. The filet was the best and the salads were excellent. Service was on point and accommodating.

We had a delightful lunch on the patio. All three of us had great salads. Of not were the lobster salad and the wedge. As always, our servers were great!!

As usual a very satisfying menu and the food selected was great. The service, again as usual, was attentive. The restaurant is consistently a great place to experience.

Lovely evening from start to finish; cocktails, appetizers, entrees, wine and dessert. Only disappointment was I wanted Zabalone and they were done making it for the evening. The server did ask for me!
