Since 1976 Giovanni's continues to serve Cleveland outstanding Italian cuisine & a unique dining experience. Giovanni's has been awarded the Di Rona, AAA & Wine Spectator Award, Cleveland Magazine "Silver Spoon" Award (Best Italian Restaurant & Best Italian Restaurant in Northern Ohio) several times over the years. The wine cellar, classified as one of the country's finest with over 800 selections, earned Wine Spectator's Grand Award.
Giovanni's recent renovation brings the atmosphere more in tune to today's feelings. The Picasso Room with wood paneling, distinctive artwork, fireplace & elegant French doors, seating up to 30, is ideal for corporate & social functions.
The imaginative cuisine offers surprising variations of classic recipes including handmade pastas, seafood, veal, lamb, beef & game. Elegance & first class service are an experience not to be missed. The more casual lounge & bar areas are excellent alternatives serving the same menu as the main dining room.

                                                                                                One of the few restaurants with white table clothes and professional staff. Always a favorite of us because of its great food and service. Very accommodating to my dietary needs. Highly recommended

                                                                                                Always such a treat. With a warm smile and hug or handshake Carl and Pierre greet you as you enter, reminding you this is family. The attentive service continues with quick, prompt attention from several of the wait staff. The food is consistently the best in Cleveland. Veal is my favorite, but dont miss any of the homemade pasta dishes either. For a treat the freshly flown in Dover sole never disappoints and the rib steak is amazing. Finish with a special dessert prepared table-side (bananas foster or cherries flambe) or creme brule or tiramisu off the regular dessert menu.

                                                                                                Our server Taylor was great. He was totally on it. Pierre came to our table to make sure we were all happy. The veal chop was amazing. The drinks were great. We went for my Girlfriends birthday and they treated her like a queen.

                                                                                                We have eaten at Giovanni’s many times and were pleased with the food and service. Unfortunately we were very disappointed last night.Our party of four all ordered appetizers. Three ordered the Oysters Rockefeller and the other ordered Lobster Bisque. The Oysters were served and were delicious. After 10 minutes we asked about the Bisque, it was forgotten. My entree included scallops which were cold. I ordered a Gin and Tonic, lacking Tonic. The bill was brought to our table by the trainee, not buy our waiter. The prices went up, the quality went down.

                                                                                                The food was excellent but it took them 30 minutes to bring us the bottle of wine we ordered. Other than that it was very good.

                                                                                                The food is just as outstanding as it was 15 years ago but the services has changed. More casual. The the Cleveland area, Giovanni's can really only be compared to itself. Dined there over 15 years ago and was blown away by their attention to detail -- women were given black napkins when wearing dark dresses/pants and white for lighter colors. Chairs pulled out for guests. The food was just as memorable.
